For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

SuperBunny · 19/01/2009 19:05

Lol Molly, you always manage to inject humour, with such speed.

Tiger, I had terrible morning sickness and had to walk around smelling a lemon. You could try that?

FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 19:11

oh some fricking hippie very nice tea

FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 19:12

TigerFeet · 19/01/2009 19:14

Apparently I look like I'm sucking a lemon a lot of the time so I suppose I might as well sniff one

Boco · 19/01/2009 19:15

Thank you Franny.

I saw that you'd won an awful lot of tea. It'd be good if you had a real village hall, we could have an urn. It is still a village hall?

NO. It's A LOG CABIN. ahundred says I can have a log cabin with a roaring fire while I'm pregnant.

BBBee · 19/01/2009 19:26

A log cabin?

sounds like there might be earwigs.

mollyroger · 19/01/2009 19:27

Although I know I might come accross as yurty, I'm very much at home in village halls.

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:30

Nooo it's a nice one. Avi and Toot have made quilts and curtains, and there's a fire and stuff. No earwigs. It's a sort of Featherdown log cabin, with walls and a proper roof. And pigs to feed the fruit and vegetable peel too.

The pigs are for TooT, to make up for the fact we're not actually outside freezing in a field like what she'd like. I don't have much to do with the pigs myself. [sticks nose in air]

Moll, I've been thinking about your ds2. Has it got better?

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:32

to feed to
