Well I did it.

No snacking, and bed at 10.30.

(halo emoticon)

goblinvalley · 10/10/2008 09:27

Congrats cadelaide

I am also having a bit of a trying time at the moment. I am eating the same amount i was when i lost a lot of weight in a week, and now nothing - soooooo annoying.

Off swimming on sunday, hopefully that will be good.

Tyme · 10/10/2008 09:48

Well done Cadelaide! I did it too. I just had about 6 grapes to git rid of some hunger pangs and a cup of mint tea.
It feels so good the next morning, doesn't it?

Goblinvalley - try writing down what you eat in a day. You may have been eating a bit more without realising? Exercising will def be good.

Peachygirl - what do I need to do? do I email you with my stats or shall I just put them here?

peachyghoul · 10/10/2008 12:36

Hi all, sneaking on in my lunch hour!

tyme email is best as I email everyone once a week and then the stats are recorded on a chart whcih I send to you.

I think it helps people think about the week ahead more. I can also CAT you if you like,

Well done about last night everyone

I confess I did have a minimilk

Cadelaide · 12/10/2008 14:14

I had the most enormous Indian meal last night.

peachyghoul · 13/10/2008 07:28

Hi everyone a bit of an early start for me.

I've been away to my parents this weekend and had a fish and chip supper and a biggish sunday lunch, although I had no pudding.

I thought it would 'sit funny' on the journey home which due to DH having stomach cramps took 5 hours!!

Cadelaide · 13/10/2008 21:06

Well, it worked last time so I'll once again announce my intention to eat no more this evening.

(Had cottage pie at 6.30).

I'll let you know. Hope it's going well for you all. Well done Peachy on missing pudding, I think you're quite good at this aren't you?

peachyghoul · 13/10/2008 21:33

hmmm you're talking about the person who has just scoffed two percy pigs!

i would say that this whole thing has made me think a lot more about what I eat, and I am certainly no angel.

I love crisps and cheese and am partial to chololate and sweets and cookies but... I have lost a fair amount of weight and have this thread to thank!

Tyme · 15/10/2008 12:06

Hi. How is is everyone doing?

I have decided to give it my all now. I've had a binge-y few weeks and its out of my system now

I am doing exercise in the evenings instead of eating. I have a small dinner with the kids at 6.30ish, then I do about 20-30mins of exercise when they've gone to bed.

I NEED to lose a stone by Xmas. I am definitely going to.

peachyghoul · 15/10/2008 20:17

Tyme I have emailed you.

peachyghoul · 16/10/2008 20:45

HI everyone. I'm sure this isn't going to be a good week for me.

I've just started after being 7 days late, so I'm experiencing mad mad hormones.

Cadelaide · 16/10/2008 22:43

OOh, hormones, not good.

I've just changed my pill and I'm all over the place. Not complaining though as I appear to have lost 1lb.

I've (finally) mailed you Peachy.

Cadelaide · 16/10/2008 23:20

I have to ask.

"Percy Pig"???

duomonstermum · 17/10/2008 12:36

sorry i've been awol. had hectic few weeks and DH's youngest brother passed away last week so haven't really been keeping up. snowed under with coursework as well so really haven't had any "me" time. hopefully things will slowly start to get back to normal. i'll be glad of the reading week we're getting at halloween so that i can tidy my notes!!! did a class test yesterday and was really pissed off with myself for getting answers wrong because i doubted myself. memo to self, i'm ALWAYS right lol!

peachyghoul · 17/10/2008 18:04

cadelaide they are sweeties from Marks and Spencer... mmmmmm

Sorry to hear of your loss Duo

Don't worry about not being in touch, you know where we are. I'll keep sending the email even if I don't hear from you.

Marshy · 19/10/2008 22:01

Hi all,

Sorry to have been out of touch. Moved house end of Sept and it's taken ages to get the internet connection sorted.

I'm afraid I've used this as an excuse to eat and drink lots so I'm guessing I've undone the little bit of good work I had done. Work is also very stressful at the moment and I'm still not exercising much owing to lingering back injury.

Anyhow, that's the end of the excuses. I have a motivating factor on the horizon - a posh do in 5 weeks time - so it would be good to be a bit trimmer for that.

Will weigh in on Tuesday and take the consequences!

Cadelaide · 20/10/2008 22:59

Hello marshy, hello All.

Don't make me weigh myself tomorrow, pleeeeease, don't make me.

I'm enjoying living in my chocolatey bubble of denial.

peachyghoul · 21/10/2008 17:49

The email has been sent.

cadelaide I have gained so will join you in the corner of shame.

Tyme is now officially on the chart so we should all set her a good example this week.

The food exclusion is chocolate and sweeties - both of which I have eaten this week - no more Percy pigs for me [shame]and we should all try to drink at leat 4 large glasses of water (cordial is fine) a day. This will help with the weight loss.

I would really really like to lose a couple more lbs...come on ladies lets do it

colie · 21/10/2008 20:43

I really want to do this. I just always eat in the evening. Had been walking on the school run but have stopped that over last few weeks.
I want to lose 10lb by 13/12/08, is it possible not to eat at all for 7 weeks .
Will weigh myself on tuesday and email you peachyghoul if that is ok.

I will really stuggle with no tea and no wine on a friday and saturday. Although since we can have wine once a week I suppose I will just have to wean myself off the friday night wine. I will savour the wine this friday then as am not starting it until tuesday.

Duo- sorry to hear about your loss.

peachyghoul · 21/10/2008 20:51

Colie you are very welcome.

My email is below below

Cadelaide · 24/10/2008 23:30

Hello Colie.

I've been without an internet connection for 3 days. Didn't realise how dependent I've become

Nice to be back.

peachyghoul · 25/10/2008 19:20

I haven't heard from many people this week.. is everyone OK??

JellycatShopkeeper · 25/10/2008 19:35

Did you get my very late email peachy?

peachyghoul · 26/10/2008 16:02

Not sure jellycat, are you a regular, sorry if I'm being dim!

I've heard from wolfgirl, cadelaide and marshy

I've not had anything on the yahoo email for a bit so I'll post it again for newbies.

g m p school at yahoo dot co dot uk

If you email here I then will contact you from my home email, the yahoo one is a separate one.

My parents left today. It's been quite good having them here DD had a whale of a time with them but I have eaten my fair share of treats.

I wore a skirt to work on Thursday. The first time in about 2 years. Even thought I am up and down with this weight loss I feel I have a much more positive body image of myself.

Dh was so shocked he said he would contact google so they could create a special heading to celebrate!!
