Hi Peachy and everyone.

Tuesday's quite close now, isn't it? Don't think I'll have done very well this week. Have felt a bit fed up generally, mainly due to slow progress with my back problem, trying to get back to usual activities and not being able to, so have been comfort eating a bit. Doesn't really help of course. Am aiming to be back at work on Thursday - oh help!!

Will weigh-in regardless on Tues and hope for the best!

Peachy - haven't had a chart from you yet. Not hassling you, it's just that my email address has that extra little 'a' in the middle that people sometimes miss, so just checking it hasn't gone astray.

peachygirl · 07/09/2008 19:11

marshy I haven't sent you the chart, do you want t see it to see how it will work?
I'll send one this evening

peachygirl · 07/09/2008 22:27

i would tell peachy and cadie off but i had a takeout and drinks at the weekend..... made up for it by walking to childminder/uni(35mins) and then down to town (20mins). ok i had to time myself cos i start on thurs so had to see how long it would take from the house. 35mins later i was sweating badly.... i knew i shouldn't have eased off on the walking!!!! so if i do the walk every morning at least that will be 35mins of breathlessness and i'll just have to find a reason to add the extra walk from the childminders to the town i think. got new pedometer cos DS lost my last one so will be keeping track from tomorrow i think.

peachygirl · 08/09/2008 20:53

Thats great DMM Well done you. I walked ot tumble tots this morning then raced around after DD!

I've sent the email ready for tomorrow.

Suedonim seems to have gone AWOL anyone seen her on other threads??

Wolfgirl · 09/09/2008 09:06

Morning ladies

Kinda good news. No loss but no gain!! However, was away for the weekend, at a wedding, and really went to town stuffing myself!

I did good last night though - kept off the Thorntons toffees we have in the house, and believe me they are scrummy-licious!

so, still 14st 2lb.

Glad to see lots of new folk on board! Well done ladies, we can do this! Just think how gorgeous we will all be come Christmas! WhoooHoooooooo!!

NoahCadelaide · 09/09/2008 11:23

Hi All,
First weigh since the start of the school hols and I have gained 2lb since then, which is just plain stupid of me cos that weight was sooooo hard to lose.

Still, I shall punish myself with a good flogging with crisp celery sticks and clamber back on board.

Marshy · 09/09/2008 12:28

Hi everyone.

Well...am shocked! Have lost a pound and was so convinced i'd gained as i've been feeling really c**p the last few days and not eating at all well - 2 glasses of wine last night and chocolate earlier in the week, which i rarely eat but it was just there, if you know what i mean.

This is such a boost cos to be honest if it hadn't been for having to weigh in today i would definately have just given in to eating badly and piling on the pounds.

I'm back to work on Thurs so back into unforgiving 'proper' trousers rather than the comfy stretchy (and very flattering ) things i've been wearing for the last 5 weeks. Physio says i've got to take a 2 hr lunchbreak to do back stretches, so that'll go down well!

Peachy - not sure if i've had the chart - will check my email.

Good wishes to everyone.

goblinvalley · 10/09/2008 09:47

Morning all,

Peachy i've emailed you my weigh-in.

I am finding the no-evening munchies soooo hard but i shall persevere.

I have to lose weight as i am taking my ds's YR 1 class swimming after Christmas and going on holiday in 22 months I HAVE to get under 10st.

Just about to order a Davina DVD to have a laugh exercise with

peachygirl · 10/09/2008 20:18

Hi Everyone.

Blimey wolfgirl, I don't know how you kept up with all of us before I'm getting in a pickle and it's only the second week. It's all the confusing duel identities.

Well done ladies we have some losses.

Suedonim gets the gold star this week with a 2lb loss.

Marshy gets the silver with 1lb

I've not heard from IammamaG and Duomonstermum but I know Duo started uni on Monday so her mind is probably elsewhere.

wolfgirl maintained so she gets the bronze

Goblinvalley is your start date this week or am I missing a weight for last week?

As for me I gained 1/2 lb - not too bad considering but this week I have to be better.

Well done everyone

Bum! I just wrote a massive response and it site crashed on me. Yeah, Peachy, very hard work! well done you though.

duomonstermum · 11/09/2008 19:54

i am here!!! just getting over the shock of weighing myself...... 11st8...... i didn't get the email so i'll post here for now. have been trying to persuade the uni that i do exist, managed to get through registration with my married name but when i got to getting my student id they had me under my maiden name despite going through all the hoops i still have to go in early tomorrow to sort it..... aaaaarrrrrggggghhh i now have shin splints from all the lovely walking to chidminder and uni.....

peachygirl · 11/09/2008 20:45

Thanks duo I've put you on the chart.

I've been feeling very positive about weight loss this week even though I had my little gain as 6 people at work have asked me if I have lost weight. They also commented on my hair too...which hasn't really changed but is going through a good phase.

I have told people about the diet but I think everyone has noticed due to me wearing a particular pair of trousers, in the summer I wear a lots of baggy linen trousers and my winter work trousers are a bit more fitted.

So come on girls lets all aim to get our lovely positive comments soon.It has really boosted me this week

OP posts:
goblinvalley · 12/09/2008 12:42

Wolfgirl,

I did have a weight for last week, but seeing as it was lower than this week i think i will start from now

peachygirl · 12/09/2008 18:06

thats fine goblinvalley!

OP posts:
Marshy · 13/09/2008 15:12

Thanks for all your hard work Peachy.

Ooh, I got a silver - that's nice!

I returned to work last week, with hot food on offer in the restaurant, so have been eating more but probably picking less, and certainly a bit more active than i have been for a while. It'll be interesting to see what Tuesday brings.

Marshy · 13/09/2008 20:08

Oh noooo! The wine is irresistable! [Marshy waves as the wagon disappears into the distance leaving her sitting in the road]
Good luck everyone!

peachygirl · 14/09/2008 15:04

It is hard everyone but remember you can have one night off so that glass of wine can be enjoyed.
Also remember there is leanency around the time of your period.

peachygirl · 15/09/2008 19:15

Hi all the chart has been sent

OP posts:
Cadelaide · 16/09/2008 12:55

ohdearohdearohdear.

An appalling, pitiful, pathetic week and a 1lb gain.

Ah well, onwards and upwards downwards.

peachygirl · 17/09/2008 18:53

Hi all thanks to to those who have got back to me.
It doesn't seem to have been a good week for most of us. Don't worry we should be taking it one day and then one week at a time.
I lost my 1/2 pound but didn't do my video will try to be better this week

OP posts:
duomonstermum · 17/09/2008 19:03

started last week so well but the bad weather is making it hard to walk in the mornings. hopefully my timetable will be sorted out by next week which will let me walk a bit more. lost 1lb but it's hard going when there's so much sweat and pain and little loss, but better things next week!

peachygirl · 18/09/2008 20:17

Ok this week stickers go to

Duo who lost 1lb
and Wolfgirl who lost 1 and 3/4 lbs

Goblinvalley has made a good start and lost 1/2 lb.

I also lost 1/2lb and sueDonim maintained.

Cadelaide has confessed already ... but we know that this 'diet' does have it's ups and downs.
From my experience You can spend ages haning around one weigt going up and down and then suddenly move on

I haven't had any exercise suggestion so shall we persevere with the exercise DVDs. I still haven't got mine out but I do get home from work earlier on a friday.

Anyone got nice plans for the weekend? bedsides thos DVDs

I still haven't heard from Marshy, purpleduck and IamnotmamaG.
