For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Tatties! I have had a parcel
Thank you! You are lovely!

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 20:34

You can have pizza sauce if I can have felafels SB.

Have been uploading ridiculous photos of my superposer DD on Facie B and laughing lots.

I am going to buy a big projector and get it out at every major birthday from now on!

Such a star. Will upload some updates to profile.

berolina · 28/08/2008 20:40

TooT, lol at your observations re. pears (it was two chopped up together and mixed in same bowl - one yellow and one lovely red one) and manager. He is really very alright, really he is, is actually a very good manager and everything, just almost disturbingly into what he does and what the company does. What he should have said was 'look, I'm stupidly rwally anxious about this project and I can't help worrying but I know it will be alright, won't it?', what he did was desperately try to mention his concerns without seeming discriminatory with the result that it sounded very discriminatory.

pinkspottywellies · 28/08/2008 20:41

Ooh, OsBa are they on the larger side of 10-12? I've just dug my maternity clothes out of the loft and have two great baggy pairs of over bump jeans - as yet too big for bump - but definitely need something maternity.

berolina · 28/08/2008 20:42

(disclaimer: I am not suggesting it is bad to be into your job - wish I was - it's the losing-sight-of-other-things intoness that he has)

FrayedKnot · 28/08/2008 20:45

Any thread about food, Pink, and I'm there

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 20:46

PSW - I think they are a 10 in the label, I know I'm nearer a 12. They aren't baggy. I can send 'em and if they're no good you can find them a good home?

Think all my mates are done with pregnancy / babies / have warned them off it.

Am trying to lad photos. Very slow.

pinkspottywellies · 28/08/2008 20:51

OsBa - Just seen photos of your gorgeous girl on FB!! Would appreciate the trousers please. Let me know how much to Paypal you when you send them [no pressure] I am holder of a HUGE bag of Mat clothes from about 5 people who will all ask if they need to pass anything to anyone else so I'll add them to the collection!

That must be a 10/10 trait FK

I need to go and wash up and make tiffin but I don't think I'll be able to carry it off with Boco's style

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 21:07

see, you knew it made sense to be my FB friend

Now you know too much though......

Cos I keep SO many secrets on here!!!! I never give any deep dark nasty secrets away.

I'm shit. It's true.

Don't worry about paypal, send me an M&S voucher for cheap plonk strawberries.

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 21:08

joking, will figure out what's best later.

Tatties · 28/08/2008 21:10

Oh good Bero!
FMV, thank you but I think I am ok.
FK you do sound fraught The nursery/school thing is all emotional isn't it. Eek at the possible commute for dh. You have done it before haven't you?

TooTicky · 28/08/2008 21:12

OB, RUH has big notices up saying that you have to wait 72 hours after d&v.
Crap situation re childminder!!

TooTicky · 28/08/2008 21:14

Bero,, thank you for telling me about your pears We have had some gorgeous ones recently. Hope they continue to be good as we have 3kg coming tomorrow...thought they'd be useful for the weekend

Oh dear FK, I hope it all goes smoothly.

TooTicky · 28/08/2008 21:19

Dd1 has gone to the cinema with a boy called Rainbow. We have heard no more about the fiance.

Ds1 has more verrucas than teeth

pinkspottywellies · 28/08/2008 21:29

Ooh TooT. A date?! Hope she has a lovely time. Ew at verrucas!

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 21:31

Oh cool! So what I'll do is email work now and ask what the protocol is and ask them to call me. That way I sound 'on it' but may yet not have to go in.

Have now had so long off work (like 6 days, inc w/e!!! WOWOWOW!!) that don't really fancy friday.

Good idea?

filthymindedvixen · 28/08/2008 21:34

oh how sweet Toot - a hippy son-in-law

Have just had confirmation of camping trip tomorrow. Panic, dither, have just packed in about 10 mins flat as I am at work tommorrow so can't set off til 3. The campsite has had very bad reviews, lol, but they will let us build a campfire. So we will put up with nay amount of sheep poo and only 1 crappy toilet per 100 tents in order to have a fire!!

zippitippitoes · 28/08/2008 21:37

well i am jealous of people meeting eahc other, camping and having jobs

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 21:39

Jeez. Where do you live that has such dodge camp sites? Move to the West Cunnry.

We have found a particular place...... fits about 6 large tenst, has stream with deep(ish) area for jumping in for brave childer folk, no probs with fires. £50 per night for all involved. Not each.

Welsh though [wink}

OsmosisBanana · 28/08/2008 21:40

Night. Thanks for the 72 hours info TooT!

filthymindedvixen · 28/08/2008 21:41

OB, we are in yorks where options are Caravan club sites whre you are not allowed to fart after 9pm and must camp at 90 degree angles with no more and no less then 9.3 yards away from next person - or the farm in Heartbeat country, where you gladly pay £25 a night not to have karaeoke in t' clubhouse and to have a campfire....

FrayedKnot · 28/08/2008 21:51

Tatties I thnk the weekly commute is Ok if you know it is finite but not if it's open ended.

The place where the job is is actually somehwere I have lived before years ago, and would quite like to live again, but having moved here three years ago and made new friends and settled into a job and DS just starting school, I don;t want to move.

But there are also pros for DH, the job, and our finances.

How are you getting on, btw? Do you have an end in sight yet?

FrayedKnot · 28/08/2008 21:52

So are you going to Heartbeat or the rightangle one, FMV?

I have images of you running down a dale to a babbling beck somewhere now

Hope the weather does what is promised.

Guadalupe · 28/08/2008 22:00

Oh, I hadn't thought about whether the campsite will be full. It does get busy, they keep writing about it in the paper. I will ring tomorrow and see. Hope you have a good time, FMV.

TooTicky · 28/08/2008 22:52

Dd1 did not meet up with Rainbow - twas packed and she didn't spot him, and he didn't know for sure that she was coming. However, dd1 stayed and enjoyed the film alone which I thought was JOLLY GOOD, and came home cheerful
