For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

How is he now? Are you OK?

Perhaps you do need a separate 'Franny's boy' thread?

BBBee · 31/07/2008 20:26

actually though 100 only read one thread so we don't know who was there so the fact you are not listed might just mean it was when you were doing something else.

I am just pleased to be described as consistent as i rarely am.

I might go baack and read a random one and summarise....

oh and lovley lovel lurkers - how welcome.

Cybil - I like that you are 'cybil' adn you had wladorf salad a la fawlty towers. please don;t be taking the piss.

filthymindedvixen · 31/07/2008 20:26

pinkspottywellies · 31/07/2008 20:34

Filthy I've just seen you recommending value supernoodles!!!!

I'm getting in a scrap on a bf thread I don't normally do MN scraps

Cybil · 31/07/2008 20:35

was it exotic? I guess the marigold leaves sound it, they are meant to be good for women's balancing things aren't they? I need a bit of balance. My session today was good though.

BBBee - I like your name too. I like bees. I didn't really watch Faulty Towers though. Did they eat a lot of Waldorf salads?

FrannyandZooey · 31/07/2008 20:36

Cybil your style is familiar....

Cybil · 31/07/2008 20:40

Is it? I have been here a long time actually. Every time I go to post something, I delete it and and feel really nervous. I get nervous a lot.

ahundredtimes · 31/07/2008 20:41

You will feel better if you s t r e t c h your sentences a little Cybil.

Those short sentences. They might frighten regulars you know.

vegetablefan · 31/07/2008 20:42

How long does the amnesty last?
Have I got time to list things?
I like it when you all list things, it's my favourite bit. Apart from when you all do strange fantasy role plays, that's good too.

Cybil · 31/07/2008 20:44

damn it, I'm gushing. I don't say anything for six months and now I gush like a river. I think it might have been my CBT today. It's been a bit of a block but today there was a breakthrough. I can't articulate what exactly, just that was a change, a turn in the wind. I cried. I don't often cry but this was, words can't express really.

Thanks for being so welcoming. It feels cosy in here.
