For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

I don't know if that would help really, the faintest beat anywhere and he's up on his feet to dance.

I am sure it's just a phase and moving from cot
to bed is always a trial but it feels knackering and I still get more tired than usual after the op.

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:01

Hmmmmmm....just wondering about a lullaby or something soothing that would be a signal for sleep

ds still has his music box wound up as I leave the room each night.I even had to take it when we stayed in a hotel for one night last week.I had one travel bag & it was entirely full of cuddlies, story books, music box & lego + my knickers & toothbrush

Guadalupe · 20/07/2008 22:06

Thing is, he has all his usual sleep signals: sunggly doll, bf, stories and songs and so on. It is the newness that perks him up. There is no cot, why does he have to go to bed, where is mummy going, (increase volume), she has gone out and I am sat here and bloody hell I am not going to sleep. Wahhhh. Or something.

Hi mamag. My sis went to uni in Leeds. I love Leeds. I have started my only drunk fight there. Yes, I know, not something o be proud of. But I am. Zig a zig aaahhh.

Have now seen end of Pan's L. Face paralysed by salt.

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:28

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:33

Hmmmmmmmm
I guess it's easier in a flat as you are only a breath away all the time
That's it...move to a flat

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:34

Hello Lully, how are you?

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:34

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:37

Ignoring certain members of the household & delighting in others.

Oh that reminds me...ds has asked for a t shirt with a blue 4 on it to wear at his party.Could dp do that?

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:37

I wish..........

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:38

Absolutely
When would you need it?

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:41

Ummmmm...his birthday is 31st this month
Do you have teeny t shirts or should I send one?

He'll be thrilled
He has a mad hat shaped like a birthday cake to wear & it plays happy birthday
( he has a hat thing going on)

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:44

It would be one of these or if you have one suitable then send that

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:47

Hat sounds like the sort of fun thing one can tire of

Dd1 once had a Father Christmas toy on a piece of elastic which went, BOINGGGGGGG!!!!!! HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! when disturbed.
One night, having tripped over it in the dark for the umpteenth time, I lobbed it straight out of the window
Then repented and sent dp out to retrieve it.

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:48

Oh great
He'll be four so 3-4?

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:54

Does £6 sound okay?

Ds2 loves those fur real monkeys but I can't bring myself to get one.

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 22:56

Oh, and what size 4? Nice and big? Open top 4 or closed top 4? Light blue, medium blue, dark blue?

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 22:59

Um yes nice big pale blue open top four please.

Is £6 enough?

LullyOfShallot · 20/07/2008 23:00

I havn't seen the monkey's

TooTicky · 20/07/2008 23:01
