For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Fabulous bump Fran . If it's any consolation I was barrelling headlong towards 16st when dd came along. I lost 1.5st within a couple of weeks.

Sometimes I feel such a fraud being on this thread. I now weigh twice as much as most of you lot (apart from Fran ).

I have no nekkid pics of me being pg. Only a very few clothed ones too. I did not look good at all but now I regret not taking a few more pics. I have some from when I was about 34 weeks and that's about it

Such a lot has happened since I was last posting properly... I am going to have to go back and read the thread again and make notes as I have things to congratulate/commiserate

I was made a beautiful juice last night of butternut pumpkin and apples.. I felt all zesty after that..

I am eating very tree ripened apples and mandarins, brussel sprouts and lots of butternut pumpkin.. I have developed a thing for pot roasts and through everything in, easy and delightful

later I have veg soup, then something involving chicken and mushrooms and steamed veg for tea.

We are eating a lot of steamed veg atm. DH's work has plenty to spare atm so we have been eating cauli, broccoli, savoy and tenderstem broccoli in abundance along with carrots and local new potatoes that I had to pay for.

I did have two apples but they were grim, one bite out of each then in the bin. Why is it that soft pairs are nice and hard pears are horrid, but hard apples are nice and soft apples are horrid?

Good morning. Dd 2 had a terrible night with wheezing again, and has chest pains and a sore throat and a horrid cough. She's a bit panicky about her breathing this morning so want to get her seen as we're goign away.

My doctor is away, so have to see our ex-doctor. This is making me anxious as I once told a mental health social worker that he was a breast staring weirdo with a bowl haircut and that he was crap and didn't listen. I then found out that he was married to this social worker (I'd wondered why she'd gone all blotchy) because I saw them holding hands in matching anoraks at a village fete. So, I've avoided eye contact with him ever since and now i have to go and see him. So, wish me luck, I'm scared that nerves may make me flash my nipples at him, or slap him, or jibber uncontrollably.

ds is off school again, he is much improved but keeps getting temp spikes, so we are having a duvet day and will go to allotment later for some fresh air.
