Fruity Bitches at your Cervix - 10/10 thread, all welcome

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Oh, I am doing the doula course next year - that's settled, thank goodness - it's just that we really couldn't do without my earnings (my maternity pay runs out in Sept - the bitter irony is because of the way it is calculated and the cut in hours from 3 to 2.5 days I've arranged I will actually be earning less than my maternity pay ) and the job is just not me. It's interesting enough, I can do it (involves a lot of writing), I have a real Good Egg boss and colleagues, it could all be so much harder/worse - but seeing as I'm probably always going to have to earn I would just like to be doing something I feel is useful and stretching and true to myself. Otherwise my usually quiet and muted envy of SAHMs might well become raging.
