Misdee, can do nothing but think of you, your dh and your little ones.
If I lived close to Harefield I'd offer to keep an eye on him daily for you (when he gets there!)and take him nice things.
Is there anything MN-ers could do for you?

I'm with Blu - can we do anything practical to help? Where is Harefield?

misdee · 31/01/2005 12:19

north london area i think. just outside M25.

doesnt look like he'll be moved today tho, but they may be doing more tests here.

think he'll get scared if loads of m'netters descended on him lol.

Also wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and really hoping your dp is getting great treatment and will be better soon and particularly in time for the new arrival.

lailag · 31/01/2005 12:30

For what it's worth, knew of Harefield even before moving to UK, so quite famous.
lockets, did you get married at Wandsworth? Saw your pic and recognised the stairs and wall

Potty1 · 31/01/2005 21:23

misdee · 31/01/2005 21:25

he is till waiting. harefield is pretty much full. they cancelled 2 other people who were meant to be moved today as well. they are in cvonatct with harefield with regards to angiograms etc.

At least they seem to be taking it all pretty seriously misdee - BTW I didn't realise you were so close to your due date, you and yours don't do things by halves do you?

misdee · 31/01/2005 21:37

i know. we've got everyone in a panic and on standby lol.

misdee · 01/02/2005 14:51

How did he get on misdee? Dd had one in the summer - she did 6 minutes and I don't think I took a breath for the whole of that time!

misdee · 01/02/2005 15:16

no idea, will see him 2nite. usually he manges about 7mins. but the ones at papworth were different, so i dont know if this was one from sitting to jogging, or walking to running iykwim.

Please let us know, between yourself and Lou33 I find myself worrying more than normal. And bearing in mind I am a worrier, then I must be worrying if I have recognised it. OMG should I worry about the fact that I am worrying ??

Seriously let us know

misdee · 01/02/2005 20:20

i got it wrong (thats what happens during phone calls when dd2 is yelling cbeebies at me) it was a breath test, not a stress test

they said his oxygen level was good, but the heart function is poor which is why he is breathless.

some people up on cardio have been waiting over 3 weeks to move to harefield. apparently dh appoitment for transplant assessment was meant to be yesterday, but we never got the letter. he will be at the hospital until he gets mvoed to harefield. lets hope it soon.
