Cantaloupe, cantaloupe! Will you eat the bad mango? - 10 / 10 thread

For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

zippi something about sex I think

OP posts:
pinkspottywellies · 16/06/2008 19:33

Oh Lord. How could I not realise it's Boot Camp! I'll try extra hard tomorrow. And I'm going running now. Right now in fact (if my iPod's charged a bit!)

Sorry that the Gym Hag is still getting at you Franny. I guess it's difficult to understand for people who are used to stricter (if that's the right word? Less responsive, perhaps?) parenting. She must be thinking 'You are the grown up, you are in charge. Just Tell Him' and doing this . But obviously her way wouldn't work for you and ds Very difficult.

talilac · 16/06/2008 19:42

aaaarghhhh.

I didn't even show up for bootcamp today.

I was in Ikea hell instead. Its all DH's fault, we went for some storage boxes and curtains and ended up spending the day. You don't even want to know what I did end up eating.

Off to go stuff my face with as much healthy f & v as I can find in an effort to catch up.

At least I walked for a couple of hours. Round bloody Ikea.
