Steve died at 10.30 in Jo's arms where he belonged.

I have spoken to her & she asked me to let you all know. Her dear friend Tracey is with her.

God he put up a good fight & I for one feel honored to have known him & his family.

I didnt know them at all but lurked on these threads. I am so sad for them and hope he is now at peace. Much love to them all.

Jo, I am so sorry for your loss but at the same time feel Steve had fought a good fight and is now at peace. Your memories will be with you forever and Steve will live on in your children and in your heart. I cannot comprehend the grief and heartache you must be feeling right now which must in some bitter sweet way be mixed with relief that Steve is no longer in pain. Your battle and strentgh Jo has shown me you are an amazing woman and the glimpse into your life these past few weeks have humbled me and for that i am truely grateful.

Steve, Sleep well, your battle has taught many people including myself to keep my problems and issues in context, oyu have taught me to value every thing i have and to not take advantage of the people i love and for that i thank you from the bottom of my heart.
