OH OJ my heart goes out to you & your family. THis is the one time in a family when you would expect people to pull together - not apart. You're made of much better stuff than than the "trouble makers" - I'm sure you can rise above everything.
I am praying to God that today works out really well for the girls, and the rest of you. I'm sure Steve is hanging on to make sure the girls day isn't disrupted! Enjoy your precious time together. Happy birthday to the girls!

wrt Mikes actions surely he knows that (from what you have said I am just guessing)this course of action will also put the children at risk/in danger and upset them and if they all profess to love and care about Steve as much the say they do surely they would not want to do this. They cant possibly believe in any twisted reality they live in that this would be what steve would want and that he would ever forgive them if any harm came to his most tresured children.
