For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

And my very best joke:

What do you call a 3-legged donkey?

Wonky

That's it. I'm out of jokes now.

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 21:08

tell Boco she might get some good hallucinations soon if she doesn't get some sleep
that'll cheer her

Why did the auditor cross the road?

Because that's what they did last year.

IdrisTheDragon · 29/05/2008 21:10

That is not a funny joke really and probably very few people get it. I quite like it

TooTicky · 29/05/2008 21:12

at gutter envy

IdrisTheDragon · 29/05/2008 21:15

Just misread Franny's donkey joke as Willy Wonky. Found that one even funnier

What did the constipated mathematician do?

Worked it out with a pencil

MrsCarrot · 29/05/2008 21:18

what's wrong with trains with faces?

we have both, have never felt anything towards either, don't like the books much as I find them boring to read and I can't bear the new animations but the trains are nice aren't they?

Anyway Boco wouldn't be Boco

MrsCarrot · 29/05/2008 21:19

I have passed on some joke but I don't get the feeling she will holding on to the cot in convulsions, just yet

can we do some more?

I am having trouble thinking of any. I tend to find other people's misfortunes funnier than any contrived joke anyway

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 21:20

oh god yes we like BOCO
but I don't really think of her as an actual TRAIN, personally

Avi yes i do. That's precisely what I want.

I like all your jokes UR

MrsCarrot · 29/05/2008 21:21

oh, god, by that I mean, when dh drops a tin on his toe or something

not actual serious misfortunes of course

I hate comedy programmes, canned laughter and stand up

UnderRated · 29/05/2008 21:23

I know they're not great jokes

Thank you for humouring me, Idris.

TooTicky · 29/05/2008 21:24

Oh UR I like the mathematician one [predictable]
Bet Franny likes it too but she won't say because she is being prim and proper now.

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 21:25

I notice no one has commented on my auditor one

TigerFeet · 29/05/2008 21:31

What's brown and sticky?

A stick.

TigerFeet · 29/05/2008 21:32

What's orange and sounds like a parrot?

A carrot

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 21:33

you were just so annoyingly right on both counts

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2008 21:34

avi

don't know
don't know - our house?

OP posts:
TigerFeet · 29/05/2008 21:37

We had our gutters replaced and it cost erm about £900 I think

DH was very pleased. I was outstandingly underwhelmed.

Hope Boco and miniBoco have a reasonable night

Our trains don't have faced. DD still has them talking to one another and to the little wooden people that stand on the platform.
