For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

does anyone know about guttering? dp is making noises about ours

I sometimes get conned into buying magazines for DS and DD. I must practise being Firm.

Our gutters need cleaning out. They must do as we have lived here over 3 years and never done it.

Guttering can get blocked or broken, then you can end up with a permanently damp and mouldy bathroom.

look I thought this looked educational and middle clarss but was actually not terribly well written, had a naff comic strip in it and some more weird dubious moral slants IMO

I am teasing you. I don't really operate benign neglect I don't think. It is too hard. We left dcs in a wood with planks and tarpaulin and walked a mile back and I rushed back and gave them a mobile!

I was brought up with proper benign neglect. I don't get anywhere near it. Probably a good thing too actually.
