For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Jeez I thought you were talking about shit there for a minute, Lazarou, I was about to say my farewells

berolina · 28/05/2008 11:15

Yes SK - Berlin (hence the name ) At least Berlinerisch is intelligible, despite being rather unmelodious. Lived in Schwaben for 3 years so very much feel your pain.

Welcome back lully.

lazarou · 28/05/2008 11:22

Mrs C, if I ever start incubating my own shit, I'll know I've lost the plot

FrannyandZooey · 28/05/2008 12:42

have I been chucked off the thread for appalling everyone or can I creep back in?

am slightly worried that some people seemed to think the ratings were actually REAL and had some meaning to me and TooT

Franny, I just had a look at that RMP site you mentioned. It's literally in your face. YUK!

fullmoonfiend · 28/05/2008 13:15

Franny, ds2 was 9lbs 8oz. I put on 4 stone.
I can't say the weight exactly melted away in a week, but truly, with 2 boys to run around after, it dd go relatively quickly....

FrannyandZooey · 28/05/2008 13:32

Oh thank you FMF

lazarou I think we had better drop the subject FAST
I am sorry people found it so awful. It was meant to be funny - sorry it wasn't.

TigerFeet · 28/05/2008 13:42

oooh lazarou I think I know who you work for! I worked for the same company for a while but another site.

I am familiar with a stomacher myself Thankfully not any more though - I used to test a lot of stuff that stank after it had been incubated overnight [barf]

womblingalong · 28/05/2008 13:49

Oh Franny,

Don't worry, it was funny, if a bit graphic for my sensitive tummy. Didn't mean to make you feel bad

FrannyandZooey · 28/05/2008 13:52

no, I am sorry
was very childish and I shall reign myself in

What a triumphant start to the day, Franny I bet you would be a regular on ratemypoo You made me laugh.

lol @ six raisins, Avi. Well done.

Glad to see Lully back again. Sorry your Dad's lady friend was annoying.

UnderRated · 28/05/2008 15:35

And to make sure he's pissed me off completely, ex has meddled with my online back account so I no longer have access to it. Wonderful.

lazarou · 28/05/2008 15:43

I worked at the evercreech site in shepton mallet. I quiet liked it, except for earlies, they were quite bad.

MrsCarrot · 28/05/2008 16:00

Do you mean they were joke ratings then, that's something at least.

Lully - hope you are ok

I have just eaten a marvellous lunch of butternut squash and gruyere tarts with couscous salad and tomatoes and peppers and strawberrries and cherries and pineapple. It was at a friend's and there were millions of children and her house is lovely with a glass roof for part of the kitchen. It's very atmospheric looking at the sky/clouds/rain while sat round a table eating.

When is FMV's birthday, have I missed it?

fullmoonfiend · 28/05/2008 16:41

no Franny, I think we all know you reign...

FrannyandZooey · 28/05/2008 17:19

OMG of COURSE they were joke ratings

am ashamed and chagrinned

FMF yes bit Freudian there

Hello

I read the thread backwards so I am neither offended nor confused

DS is making a lego carrot festival, where people will go to play on the carrot trampolines and carrot bouncy castles

I am slightly of the studying going on.

I have been thinking recently about giving up my job. The problem is I will still need to generate some income. That old conundrum

TooTicky · 28/05/2008 17:49

FK, your ds sounds wonderful!!

Yes, the income thing. How about Tatty Bumpkin?

UnderRated · 28/05/2008 18:16

lol @ carrot festival

I'm a bit disappointed that the chart was made up. But I appreciate your sense of humour. I am not sure what it says about me. My dad usually buys me something poo-related for christmas. In fact, we have a fake dog poo that turns up from time to time. Like on my mum's plate at a fancy restaurant [childish]

UnderRated · 28/05/2008 18:18

FK, why are you thinking about giving up your job?
