what was the £25? oh to join EO? well there is more to it than just the newsletters, I am sure you will get your money's worth

'spontaneous happenings' means 'we haven't actually got round to planning it yet', doesn't it?

well a bit
you know I didn't really want to stop
I mean the idea of me doing it NOW, having stopped, is hideous
but it must be nice for them, don't you think?

tangerine on a baby is one of my very favourite colours avi
I give myself credit for it being ds's favourite colour - I was always dressing him in orange - the midwives made rude remarks

avi i could be being presumptuous but I do hope you are not KNITTING for a JULY baby?

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 17/05/2008 15:03

Though of course, knitting for a July baby in england sounds rather sensible to me. Lats July was bloody freezing.

Woods thing sounds fun, hope the weather is good. It's meant to be better tomorrow isn't it. Spontanous happenings? That makes me think of certain people I know doing spontanaity workshops where they explore their space and make random howls as they find their inner wolf.

UnderRated · 17/05/2008 17:06

I quite like Garden Centres. They don't have them over here.

Sorry about having to refund, Avi. All my friends are expecting July babies. I usually crochet a blanket but it seems a bit inapprpriate for the summer. I don't know what else to do though.

Woods like sounds myseterious and good. Especially if there is cake.

I am feeling that your DC2 will be a DD, Franny

FrannyandZooey · 17/05/2008 18:33

oh dear Idris
so does everyone else
but I must say I would be pleased with another ds, and I have the best name

OP posts:
UnderRated · 17/05/2008 19:34

I was thinking a boy.

IdrisTheDragon · 17/05/2008 19:44

I was convinced DD was going to be a boy. So was the midwife . The day before DD was born I had a sweep and DD's heartbeat was the sort that suggested a boy (DS's had always suggested he was a girl, so I should have been able to tell from that ) and she was saying all the good things about having two boys close together in age.

So when DD came out and was a DD I was quite surprised
