Right - I am reading Toxic Childhood again as screens are taking over in this house. I must attempt to not be a hypocrite so will try to come here less, maybe only once a day.

Thinking of you/ds2 TooT, and you MrsC - I made carrot cake for ds1's kindergarten last night - I would make you some, but fear it would not survive the trip fron Germany well so will waft baking smells in your direction instead. Rest lots!

My throat is very painful. I got up briefly and went back to bed with ds2 - fortunately dh takes ds1 to kindergarten. This is going to be the most hideous cold. People start arriving for christening/ds1's birthday tonight (fortunately not staying with us - those are coming tomorrow afternoon). I still need to maker christening/birthday cake and wrap presents. I am SO fed up of being ill. It's been one thing after another for months 2x bronchitis since February and more colds than I can count WTF is qwrong? I eat a good diet, am fit and not even that sleep-deprived

but he can be nice enough, he is polite to me and does have some good points i think but he is just not mature and rewady to settle down or consistent or prepared to work on his relationship or at a job

Have been offered opportunity to 'act up' for the last couple of months here B4 uni as PA to the Divisional Manager (woohoo...) which is considerably more money than I am on now.

Just ran it past one of the managers (not my manager) who immediately got in a huff and started yammering on about how the other woman I share my current job with isn't reliable due to DH illness and the community office had to come first.

No it bloody doesn't... Me not earning anything for 3 years and having a brief promotion comes first.

Typical. They moved my job without asking me when I was on mat leave and basically demoted me, now something comes along that I want and they kick off.

If they do I'll just hand in my notice on job 1.

My job is split between two posts currently, if I took the promo it would mean doing just job 2 for the whole 4 days.

They would have to start looking for someone to replace me soon anyway so by forcing their hand I may actually be doing them a favour as they'll have to find someone rather than let it get to Septemeber and go 'oh you're leaving and we've got no cover' which is normally what happens.

dp and ds making fab pizzas with lots of sauce, big salad

had some mango at lunchtime forcefed by Gnome Man "it's good for the baby!" I would imagine he is utterly delightful to have children with (this is for a change from me not meant salaciously or whatever. It is just a compliment that he is a nice man and a nice dad)

how come we never get any quotes FROM the 10 / 10 thread in the round up though? even though 10 / 10 ers feature highly
mind you if we did we'd get loads of tourists like last time it got some high pofile mention

I went out to pick up ds1 from kindergarten and do some shopping - felt OK when I went out but since then have been completely, utterly wiped out. I need to feel better by tomorrow.

Have had a migraine - I dont' get migraines - with flashy lights and being sick and everything. Starting to feel a bit better this evening but now it's moved round the back of my head. And my eyes are still a bit weird.

Didn't eat at all yesterday and today mainly eaten plain biscuits. No f&v, but will back to normal tomorrow I hope. Anyone know what triggers them? hope it was a one off.
