For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

cyteen I would write it all down, every bit and then get someone else to edit it for you
it would be a lovely thing to have and keep, the whole story, everything you wanted to say

I have definitely got a skirt that is too short for me, at least
will see what else
no orange pedal pushers though, you will find my stuff rather yawn I think

Can I ask? If you do a picture trail thing like that, then is it there forever? Archived in MN? How do you deactivate the link?

FrannyandZooey · 09/05/2008 20:30

i can move the picture into a different (private) album, or delete it
the link will show as a broken link, it won't go anyhere

Oh okay. Right. I might do one then, that would be nice. Then I could show you all photos.

Can you tell I'm in a good mood? I'm being all sharey and warm. But I have to go on the other computer to do it, and ds1 is singing 'Spiderpig' on it at the minute.

How exciting 100 - make sure you put plenty of you on too, and your house, and children and husband. You might as well bung in a CV too, and your diary, and book, and anything else you could share please.

ahundredtimes · 09/05/2008 20:48

lol.

Okay am going to do battle with this picture trail thing. T

pinkspottywellies · 09/05/2008 20:48

Franny don't say the m* up word. If she hears you it'll break the spell and she'll go back to barking orders advice and eating brie

TooTicky · 09/05/2008 20:50

100x, you could always put them on your profile and make them visible to your mates only. That's what I do.

Franny - I remember looking like that! I used to stand at the top of the stairs and boggle at my implausible shape in the mirror from all angles.

Cyteen, that sounds like a wonderful thing to do, for yourself as well as for others to read.

pinkspottywellies · 09/05/2008 20:52

I don't think I ever got to that size! Didn't have many photos of me though. I kept saying to DH that we really should take some and he just mumbled 'yeah' and we never took any

TooTicky · 09/05/2008 20:53

100x - I passed the top end of the park today and was wondering if you live in one of the enormous houses or one of the very tall thin ones on the other side. None of them shouted nubbly floor at me but they all hinted in a teasing sort of way.
[not a stalker]

TooTicky · 09/05/2008 20:54

You'll have to have another one then Pink

TooTicky · 09/05/2008 20:59

I am eating the most splendid pizza with fresh pineapple, tomato, orange pepper, mushroom and onion

cyteen · 09/05/2008 21:01
