For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

All this talk of pornography on a Sunday morning. Really!

Fullmoonfiend · 27/04/2008 16:37

diving in to say I dreamed a title last night:
''Raisins to be cherryful, one, two, three''

Geddit, geddit?

Have scanned thread, emailed TooT, laughed at money shots and Franny's degrees of popularity.

Hello to all. I have had nothing but a cheese and tomato toastie today so will be aiming for a straight 10 at dinner...

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 16:39

good title fmf and a nice contrast with this one

which seemed to have a very dire effect on me

Fullmoonfiend · 27/04/2008 16:40

yy, i thought that too!! We've done crying now...let's be cherryful!

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 16:42

i have finally given up and bought cortizoid type nasal spray so will see if that woirks

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 16:42

I don't get it.

Fullmoonfiend · 27/04/2008 16:43

it does seem unfair to be suffering from hayfever when we don't seem t have had Spring yet. But you are not alone, my friend at work is streaming with it at the mo.

Fullmoonfiend · 27/04/2008 16:43

Reasons to be cheerful was the title of a song by Ian Dury in the 80s. And then by Faithless.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 17:00

aww
dp and ds have made a barbeque in the fire pit for a nice surprise for me and it has just started pissing down

bless them
we are grilling the kebabs instead

zippi I was just kidding, this is about the laziest meet up possible for me and no hassle at all
I suppose I could make it easier by arranging a sedan chair for myself

Fullmoonfiend · 27/04/2008 17:02

oh what a shame...bless 'em!

Franny, what about my thread title? What do you think?
Or we could have
''for goodness sake. Do the chickpea, chickpea shake..''
sorry, dh and I can't stop singing that now.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 17:04

oh no I like raisins to be cheerful
wondering if cherryful is reaching a bit?
I agree very good idea to have happy title

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 17:16

Oh yes, I know the song. I like the title.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 17:44

have had kebabs with mushrooms and red pepper, plus some salad
as soon as we finished eating it stopped raining

you will all be pleased to know my fanjolele is much improved from yesterday
plus seem to have fixed back problem for now, which is fab
sorry I have whinged so much lately

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 17:47

we are having a huge thunderstorm

Boco · 27/04/2008 17:50

Franny that sounds weirdly like a ukulele. I don't think there should be a crossover. I'm imagining you like this and I'm disturbed

MrsCarrot · 27/04/2008 17:51

I think 'raisins to be cheerful' is enough, I sort of gurn when I say Cheryful
