For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 17:58

yes cherryful could be construed as deranged
it will be v nice to have such a sunny title though

Boco you said you would not link to photos from the meet

BBBee · 27/04/2008 18:12

i like the cherryful

admylin · 27/04/2008 18:28

Lurk alert, for Berolina. By chance I saw you on this thread (I was wondering what it was about from the title) and didn't realise you were having such a hard time of things at the moment. I bet you've got burn out syndrome, they don't really recognize that in Germany 'til you nearly fall over with it speaking from experience! I had ds aged 16months when I had dd and not much help, no family around and co-sleeping, attachment parenting and bf 'til she was 2, I was exhausted and felt very much like you seem to be feeling at the moment.

I left you a message on our German board but just in case - do you want to look at our flat? We will be out of it in September and the garden is only used by us, we've got 3 rooms and I've put some pics on the profile of the garden etc, if you like you can look at it. We're in deepest Mitte and not too expensive. The other Mitbewohner are professionals and usually away at the weekends and never set foot in the garden at any time.

right well cherryful wins the day
me and MrsC can edit mentally

I can't find what the dickens Avi is referring to, about her sister shagging everything, so am taking it as a delightful mistaken post on the wrong thread
don't disillusion me anyone

Boco · 27/04/2008 19:58

I think Avi is answering the question 'will coating my sister in quinoa stop her shagging everything that moves'.

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 20:02

ok I am trying to work it out now

it could be hayfever

it could be the money shot

aHA I think it is having a hysterectomy

so MrsC will still be able to shag everything that moves? Marvellous. We all feel better for knowing that

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 20:04

yes i was rather confused by avis response to my post and or my email lol

Boco · 27/04/2008 20:08

Everyone is emailing everyone else today, what are all the emails? Why is no one telling me that they've emailed me? Who shall I email? And what the hell is the piece of information relating directly to Avi's sister's sexual habits?

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 20:11

avi has kindly said she will send me a sap book

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 20:11

I've emailed you tons today Boco
I just forgot to post on here telling you that I had done it, each time I did

FrannyandZooey · 27/04/2008 20:12

I want Avi to email me about SPD

Boco · 27/04/2008 20:13

Yes, that's the bit I was missing FRanny.

What is a sap book? Is it actually about sap? Is that relevant to her sister's libido?

Tatties · 27/04/2008 20:20

Hello!

MrsC I have somehow managed to miss your other thread but just wanted to say you are very much in my thoughts atm. I think speaking to other people who have been through this would be really helpful for you. And did you say you were going to the doc's tomorrow? Hopefully you will get some more reassurance.

Berolina your posts have really struck a chord with me for all sorts of reasons. I have been thinking a lot recently about what makes us happy (or not), how where we live makes us feel and about how much of a benefit your own outside space is in comparison to other things. There is always some sort of compromise to be made though isn't there?

Avi the way you talk about your mother is heart-warming
