For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

tbh I think she can't exactly blame you if you do judge her (without withdrawing your friendship). I would expect to be judged by my dearest friends if I did the same.

When I was a lot younger I had an affair with a guy I knew (I also knew his girlfriend).

What horrifies me now is not just the fact that I did a horrible thing to her but that as my friends all eventually twigged what was going on I forced them into a horrendous position - of having to go along with it / deny all knowledge / choose sides etc etc. Totally unfair on everyone.

I hope she knows what she's letting herself in for.

Slightly embarrassed to have confessed that but hey ho.

Fmf if she didn't say why is that as good as a confession? She must have wanted to talk to you about it for a while and maybe this is her way of taking the finger out of the dyke. she may want you to press her for details so that she can get it off her chest..

lol, actually that's what I did say!
It does help that her dp is somewhat of an enigma (ie we're not close) but I feel crap at the whole thing.

And I can't judge - I lied to my ex big time when I first met DH....

es.. we live and learn and sometimes one needs to live a little to learn a lot..

fmf remember that feeling when you are absolutely full of feeling and think you are in love? you HAVE to tell people. I would say to her next time, Let's Have It, or words to that effect.. she may be relieved.

we have all done stupid things but we live and learn
it is good that you are not great mates with her dp
that would be truly awful

I think being a good friend now means letting her tell you about it and 'straightening out her head', as the Germans would say - i.e. judging, as a friend, but judging. It's really down to her whether her dp is ever told. Glad he's unlikely to ring.
