For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I dont hold out great hope as Babbington house was snubbed too

BBBee · 19/04/2008 11:36

oh i did hear 100 twitch at that - she will have to be all 'anne' whilst loads of glamourous hippies are dancing naked round totem poles.

She is so not going to go on that holiday.

BBBee · 19/04/2008 11:37

(TBH I did a little recoil at it too)

BBBee · 19/04/2008 11:40

is it like this fmv?

BBBee · 19/04/2008 11:42

or this?

MrsCarrot · 19/04/2008 12:04

there was no naked dancing when we were there, just wine round the fire and the faint strains of others fun lilting over the trees.

Rain while camping can be a drag I agree, if it doesn't let up it is grim but it is so fantastic when it's good weather that it's worth the risk IMO. Then there is always the Day Trip.

MrsCarrot · 19/04/2008 13:48

Where is Lionhart anyway? She has been gone for ages.

FrannyandZooey · 19/04/2008 13:59

"A friend of mine cycled to the hosp in labour Franny.."
oh GOD don't tell dp he thinks I am being silly not cycling everywhere now, and ds is cross that I won't take him places on the tagalong
I thought it was a nono because of balance thingy, but wasn't sure when this becomes an issue?

anyway got lift to work thank god as am knackered. I actually struggled for the first time - have had a 3 week break and the difference now is clear. It is difficult for me to get up and down all the time and I can hardly bend into any interesting positions which makes heads and shoulders quite novel. All the children were copying ME and not getting further than their knees
anyway survived it, 4 more to go

dp not feeling very well bless him
Lully your dp would not be feeling well if I got my hands on him
must find your thread

Boco here is the wood thing
I suspect it is going to be odder and more interesting than the Suffolk tourist board are making out

Boco · 19/04/2008 14:31

OOh I know that organiser, Tarby, she was arranging parties in woods with bonfires and bongos and bearded folk when i was a teenager.

lullabyloo · 19/04/2008 14:38

Oh Franny
It sounds very difficult & stressful & not what you need now
Can you give up any earlier?
Or can person take over/assist any earlier?

I dont like it that you will be fretting & chewing your nails for four more weeks

lol atyou making the round up offering to send the fishie one grass juice

Fullmoonfiend · 19/04/2008 16:35

oh wood thing olooks right up my tree, as it were....

ok, so I confess, the naked frolic thing was just me. Becuase we had the whole place to ourselves, it was midsummer's day, our wedding anniversary and - most importantly - DH dared me to do it.
And it was more Benny Hill than Woodstock, it has to be said...

Now 100 will definitely never agree to meet us

Fullmoonfiend · 19/04/2008 16:50

oh mrsC, there is a thread where people google images for people's names

and this is you!

FrayedKnot · 19/04/2008 16:56

Hello everyone

100 is so the lady with the two silver teapots

I am very very tired today, and thus have eaten lots of carbs and a stick of celery

I am currently very excited about the fact that our lovely box scheme man is taking over Yalding Organic Gardens which had been threatended with closure unless a new owner was found

LL I think you have been there?

Another couple of great looking recipes in today's Gaurdian (by Yotam Ottolenghi) if anyone has time to get it.

I must go and peel potatoes

Back later

Fullmoonfiend · 19/04/2008 16:58

oh yes FK, I've been drooling over them!

FrannyandZooey · 19/04/2008 17:04

Oh Lully sorry it was just a big whinge
I am not fretting, it was just hard and I was surprised to find how tired it made me feel
It will be done in a few weeks and I have this new woman training up and she is going to lead the last 2 weeks with me assisting (now i AM fretting about that because it is going to feel so very odd, and I am not very good at assisting )
but it's fine

Morning all

Hello Berolina - hope you feel better soon.

I didn't cycle when pregnant. My balance was awful. at anyone cycling whilst in labour. It was all I could do to crawl.

I called the Elevator man back yesterday, just to chat and he wanted me to go out there and then. I said I couldn't and we could talk and make plans next week but he said he'd call me tomorrow (today). He's rather pushy

2 bananas.

Fullmoonfiend · 19/04/2008 18:59

I knew my confession would drive you all away...you've all gone off to some secret thread with a title designed not to appeal to me at all, haven't you?

TooTicky · 19/04/2008 19:12

Sorry for being crap last night

Red cabbage, apple, tomato, cucumber, fruit bread.

Why are you frolicking nakedly?

Boco · 19/04/2008 19:15

I am still rather shocked actually. How do you have sex around a totem pole?

Aw Toot, this is the thread of vague doubts and mild paranoia and lingering neuroses, it's all fine.

TooTicky · 19/04/2008 19:24

Thanks Boco

TooTicky · 19/04/2008 19:27

I bought a bike when I was 6 months pg, having not cycled for years, and rode it home along the canal (about 5 miles) with ds2 on the back. It was the first time I'd cycled with a child seat too and it was v. wobbly feeling. Oh, and the smallest bike that can take a child seat is still too big for my stumpy legs.
I sold the bike.

berolina · 19/04/2008 19:32

Evening. ds1 has been incredibly off-colour today, though I feel better - I've never seen him so ill, as in knackered and listless. (He seems to have some kind of per se harmless feverish-cold virus). Quite upsetting really.

I didn't have lunch again - dreadful habit I need to get out of - but this evening risotto with red pepper, carrot, courgette and a salad of rocket. I love rocket. We have just planted lots and lots on the balcony.

TooTicky · 19/04/2008 19:33

How old is he Berolina?
