For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I like the sound of the man in the yellow jumper. I like yellow. I am wearing a yellow bead necklace and when I walked to school someone said it looked like something they'd wear on the Simpsoms.

zippitippitoes · 15/04/2008 18:36

no nothing wrong..specifically just precautionary regarding previous twat that i had a fling with

i passed the straightaway exams

just have to wait a wek for hiv and chalydia and gonorrhoea

they were somewhat perlplexed by the fact that i had had sex with an intravenous drug user but when i was a teenager

he said ill come back to that

lol

they ask very specific questions

MrsCarrot · 15/04/2008 18:36

but his trousers were too short and he was wearing a kercheif so I didn't take any notice

zippitippitoes · 15/04/2008 18:37

more interesting research for my future novekl writing

ahundredtimes · 15/04/2008 18:38

Well you were very right to go weren't you Zip. Specific questions and all.

JJ is top of the class. He is. People whisper about him. The owner of another spaniel, turned to someone and whined 'but he's only 3 weeks older than Willow.' [preen]

The man in the yellow jumper is in a different group. Mine are a bit dull. There is one couple I always stand opposite. He is mean to his wife, and keeps telling her what to do but never doing it himself. DD came last week she said 'they look like The Twits' which was rude, but true.

UnderRated · 15/04/2008 18:38

OOoo MrsC, I have issues with too short trousers. Don't know why. I think it's the white socks they insist on wearing over here. Short trousers make them glaringly obvious.

Are you worried about it, zippi?

Can I take a 2.6 yr old to a gyn appointment or is it now inappropriate?

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2008 18:39

LOL and at me and Zippi having this bad conversation and everyone else politely talking about yellow jumpers

I am sorry again I will reel the sharing in
I thought someone should try to step in while Boco was away but I haven't her knack

zippitippitoes · 15/04/2008 18:42

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2008 18:43

lol @ the Twits. I assume she didn't say it to them, just about them. You must be very proud of JJ. Can we see a photo?

zippitippitoes · 15/04/2008 18:45

twas a newby type thread about how mn people have time to waste writing shit all day

i amused myself on it and made myself late for work

ahundredtimes · 15/04/2008 18:46

I'm not really proud - I was kidding. He's a bit stupid tbh, and everything is about food, so he just comes or sits or whatever because he wants the food.

[shrugs] I am trying to persuade DH to give it a go. DD has tried to sell it on the strength that The Twits are there with their terrier. But he's not biting.

UnderRated · 15/04/2008 18:48

JohnnyJet sounds a lot like my DS. Expect he's not stupid. Daft sometimes, but bright. I meant in terms of everything being about food.

ahundredtimes · 15/04/2008 18:51

MrsC will do a lot for a loaf of morphine.

So would I actually. DH and I have given up carbs. We go through fads like this sometimes. It is quite tedious, and we are both hungry.

lullabyloo · 15/04/2008 18:51

Well you lot..I just sent the mother a jolly text message saying we would have a pizza making fest & ds was keen to make his own little restaurant with little tables etc
Mother has just text back that they will absolutely never, ever eat pizza. They hate tomato, vegetables & cheese

lullabyloo · 15/04/2008 18:52

Fullmoonfiend · 15/04/2008 18:52

zippitippitoes · 15/04/2008 18:52

FrannyandZooey · 15/04/2008 18:53

just do it, serve it up and see what happens
if they won't eat stuff like bread and fruit then what can you do?
