For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lullabyloo · 02/04/2008 11:54

Lol to mouse nappies
We have the top floor of a large house & it states in deeds that we are not allowed to have hard flooring, pets, window boxes, run a business, play an instrument etc etc etc

lullabyloo · 02/04/2008 11:55

I need to grow stuff in pots with ds on our measly terrace.
Last year we managed strawberries & herbs
What else can I grow that he'll find fun?

eternalstudent · 02/04/2008 11:55

My DH is a tree surgeon. I'm quite jealous.

eternalstudent · 02/04/2008 11:59

WHO is LilyMunster? Why does everyone else know already? Where is 100? I know these two questions could be connected but I don't think they are.

OP posts:
eternalstudent · 02/04/2008 13:22

I have burried 100 on my allotment [evil cackle]

eternalstudent · 02/04/2008 14:48

lullabyloo · 02/04/2008 15:30

No & no

eternalstudent · 02/04/2008 15:31

I'm bored. What shall I make for dinner? I am walking home past Tecso so could be anything

lullabyloo · 02/04/2008 15:31

anyone have a recipe for lemon & poppyseed cake?

we have been painting with vegetables rather than eating them
Ds is being utterly lovely today

TooTicky · 02/04/2008 16:02

LilyMunster popped in last night and I was irresistably charming, so she stayed. She has mud under her fingernails.

ES, please do not buy anything from Tesco, they are evil.

TooTicky · 02/04/2008 16:03

Lully, think I'd just make it up - basic cake with zest and seeds. Once I start looking at recipes it takes me forever to actually do anything.

TooTicky · 02/04/2008 16:07

I'm feeling a bit rotten. I didn't eat much food on Monday, or yesterday, or today, and now I've got that stupid "food is unnecessary" thing going on and I can't quite bring myself to make myself anything. I keep making excuses. Does anyone else get this?
I'm making pizza tonight so will hopefully be able to snap out of it. I think I'm at the worst point so should be nearly back to normal

lullabyloo · 02/04/2008 16:12

Oh please eat Toot....
Or....or I shall parachute in with a hamper & feed you

TooTicky · 02/04/2008 16:14

A hamper from you could tempt the most hardened non-eater, I'm sure

FrannyandZooey · 02/04/2008 16:20

she's not new, she's One Of Us, only I can't work out who and I thought you all knew but you are all just being polite LOL

Another babysitter came and I was meant to go to Sainsbury's and get lots of food for the party but I fell asleep instead

TooT no I do not get that 'food is unnecessary' thing. I am giving you a hard stare.

TooTicky · 02/04/2008 16:21

How do you know she's one of us? I never know.

Boco · 02/04/2008 16:22

She's NappiesGalore Franny.

Boco · 02/04/2008 16:24

FrannyandZooey · 02/04/2008 16:26

I knew she was a vegger type
I can always tell

ladywombling · 02/04/2008 16:30

Hello Veggers

TooT, get eating this instant, it's not good to starve yourself, you have a very busy life to cope with. It's also not very 10/10.

Hello Boco, I saw your post about wanting to illustrate the MN book, I wish you would, do you think you could ask again anyway?

Zippi, que last w/end together?
