For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

A miracle occured last night in the house of students. When DD woke up at 4am snuffling and whinging about her excema / cold / existentialism DH GOT UP AND WENT TO SORT HER OUT!!!!!!!

Unbelieveable.

Just noticed you ate a Nan last night Bbbeee. Surely rather tough and chewy no? To say nothing of the smell.

I prefer a naan with curry.

zippitippitoes · 03/04/2008 09:19

id ;love to do a camping meet and i will be spare to play with children

except i have grandmas rights to get bored and read a book/listen to music and hand them back

i am going to the gym and swim now which seems rather nonsensical use of my time since i have to leave at 2 but i am thinking i need some endorphions i am really struggling with my mood on days when i dont exercise

is this obsession?

ahundredtimes · 03/04/2008 09:20

Here it is

I would hate to do a camping meet

FrannyandZooey · 03/04/2008 09:21

sorry if my post made you think that stuffit
I thought you explained it very well and I just wanted to steal your indeterminate wonk phrase because it expressed what i was trying to say also

wombling will get back on treasure baskets - I think general heuristic play will be better but will post more later (have to go and be tied up / tie ds up, not sure which)

have emailed you 100

You are of course, always welcome to visit us at FullMoonMansion, where we have enough Brio to reach the moon and back again....

Oh Fmf, if you were serious about us descending on you at some point we really might, it would be splendid

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 10:51

100x, we would meet ANYWHERE if you would agree to come

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 10:52

We could do a camping meet - would be lovely - can't think beyond scary issues such as rent and heating oil

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 10:53

stuffitllama - hope your bank stuff is okay!

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 11:00

Oh YES we have one of those Galt pop-up people things, but we havbe lost a minny. The people are minnies because when my mum was little, she and her brother and sister had some of these and they called them mannies.

Actually Wombling, you should get something from Escor - such a good company, all ethical. And lovely toys.

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 11:01

100x, please don't worry. I know you are busy

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 11:02

Oh and hello UR

and hello Tatties! I was going to email you - I shall do that now and stop cluttering up the thread.

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 11:10

Oh poo, Tatties I can't find your email address. I have some size 10 shoes - would they be any use to you?

eternalstudent · 03/04/2008 11:11

Hello!

I'm v bored. No boss around, no work to do. I have to walk down to Trust HQ later which will take all of 10 mins, and will take me past M&S so at least that means nice lunch for me.

I have swapped my electric supplier, applied for a water meter, hassled DH's college for proof of attendance to give to council tax wankers theives morons officials. Now I am all out of onerous household tasks.

There is only one thing for it. Ebay. What do I need? Any suggestions?

TooTicky · 03/04/2008 11:22

Books. Child clothing.

eternalstudent · 03/04/2008 11:36

I found the man who took me for 3rd Grade when we lived in Karachi on facebook last night! I also found his son who I used to play kiss chase with. So weird. Hope I have a message when I get home!
