For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

zippitippitoes · 19/03/2008 20:13

mp wrote that she had found a 10000 word essay she wrote about the first time she slkept with her now husband

ladywombling · 19/03/2008 20:14

Yep Mp did, and she shared far TMI, and it all went tits up!

FrannyandZooey · 19/03/2008 20:14

well we have found a place that does 25 kg for a fiver. Trying to find somewhere cheaper or it will have to have less sand in it, basically

dp says it doesn't need 200kg anyway but I worked it out very thoroughly and scientifically with an online sand volume calculator. Oh yes.

Noooo

I have family coming all weekend including nephew & neice...can;t bear the thought of all being cooped up inside

I have plans

I thought Kit was lovely and great with your surname but then I thought about Knightrider

It's probably best I didn;t post on the names thread

IdrisTheDragon · 19/03/2008 20:16

I am pretty sure you can use them after birth (I didn't start using them until some time after DD's birth but am sure you can).

I use these ones and the maxi ones mention about them being very good for postnatal bleeding (or stress incontinence). Not sure how many you'd go through though.

FrannyandZooey · 19/03/2008 20:16

LOL Knightrider
oh dear

are there local places eg museum, gallery you can go to if the weather is dreadful?

We are going to Oxford, to stay with DH's family. Did I already say that on this thread? Well we still are anyway .

DH and I are hoping to go to the cinema together. I would love to see Juno, but (a) am not sure if it is on anymore and (b) DH says there is no way he would see it with me and I can (c) watch it on DVD some day.

FrannyandZooey · 19/03/2008 20:19

oh Idris they look super don't they, how comfortable
hmm pricey just for using after birth, too pricey I suspect
I have sanitary product now

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 19/03/2008 20:20

They are good. But I agree about too pricey for just after birth really. I remember working out when I would have broken even on using them and being very excited

FrannyandZooey · 19/03/2008 20:23

What a perfect and lovely bump Fra. Really, isn't it neat and lovely? I am always deeply jealous of pregnant ladies who manage to just sport bumps - I always seemed to be pregnant from my eyes down. Look at your lovely slim legs and perfect bump.

Good work. Keep it up. [hangs up bunting in an amiable way]
