For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

lionheart · 20/02/2008 18:41

I'm not sure which of those last two posts was the most revolting.

lionheart · 20/02/2008 18:41

Gordon Ramsay's cock might win by a head.

FrannyandZooey · 20/02/2008 18:50

Dear me this thread is not for the faint-hearted is it?

I bought some new hand cream in town today, it smells DIVINE. Along with some Lansinoh If anyone can help with my nipple problem I would be most grateful.

Franny I didn't realise you had a scan planned for today. I understand your reasons for not wanting it.

Littlerach we will definitely have extra cake for you Happy birthday in advance!

Lionheart that sounds ominous, are you not able to come now?

Still thinking of you MrsC, hope you are ok.

Boco · 20/02/2008 18:55

Holy mother what is going on with the x-rated veg chat? I actually sat and imagined GS with a big veiny cock and I didn't like it because the pubes were too blonde and she was brandishing it.

lionheart · 20/02/2008 18:56

Oh, lordy ...

FrannyandZooey · 20/02/2008 18:56

ruddy HELL Boco some of us have delicate stomachs you know

OP posts:
lionheart · 20/02/2008 18:56

I can't come and am very peeved about it. I will have to catch up on work.

Tatties · 20/02/2008 18:57

Boco!

FrayedKnot · 20/02/2008 18:57

It's a good job I'm not ovulating, remember my thoughts about the large carrot, and now this

I am supposed to be menu planning, since Christmas I have got a bit disorganized & DS isn;t eating very well atm and I am trying to think of things he definitely loves to tempt him with.

The last two evenings he has helped me cook supper though, which has had a positive effect, and tonight he ate some raw carrots

Which was a triumph but only because DH told him he would see better in the dark and now of course I expect he will try it tonight and it won;t work and he'll never ever eat another carrot

lionheart · 20/02/2008 18:57

Very peeved.

Tatties · 20/02/2008 18:57

Oh that's a shame lionheart

UnderRated · 20/02/2008 18:58

Mrs C, hope today was ok - I've been thinking of you.

Yes, Idris, that's me - I was mamama for a while. I can never find the Sept 05 threads and had a rough time for a while and had nothing much to post about. Will pop back and say hi if there is one still going.

Sorry you are feeling so grotty, Anorak.

Filthy, you are indeed quite filthy I was going to have some for dinner but I don't think I can face it now. (Aubergine not cock, obviously)

FrannyandZooey · 20/02/2008 18:59

he might think he can though, FK
I mean people believe in homeopathy erm psychics, don't they?

OP posts:
Boco · 20/02/2008 19:03

What! I didn't say it, I was forced to imagine it by dirty veggers.

Feeling rather sensitive about wizardry homeopathy at the moment.

FrayedKnot · 20/02/2008 19:28

MrsC hope you got on OK today.

Anorak, I'm not sure about the right foods to eat to improve blood counts...i would be interested to know though so perhaps we can help find out.

Avi, hope your mouth has settled.

Boco - the exhibition sounds marvellous and exciting!

Zippi ((())) wherever you are

Franny I can understand completely about the scan.

Right, I really am going to do my menu plan now.

lionheart · 20/02/2008 19:29

I understand too about the scan--didn't do it either.

lionheart · 20/02/2008 19:30

Boco, I'm not sure that you can claim total innocence.

Your post had more detail than others.

anorak · 20/02/2008 19:31

I fear my request for help has been drowned in a sea of Gordon Ramsay related filth

There must be something I can do - week 3 of 20 and I feel as tired as I was when 9 months pregnant and had just cleaned an 11 bedroomed house (I was a landlady in those days).

They will take me off the chemo if my blood count goes down too much.
