For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Sick children but all better now.

No work done [panic].

I really wanted the cakes to see you all.

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:26

Oh, here we go. TooT shows up just after everyone has left. As usual

lionheart · 26/02/2008 22:26

Do you write as well TooT?

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:26

Aha, Lionheart
How are you?

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:27

I try

MrsCarrot · 26/02/2008 22:28

The cakes were quite something, I have been thinking about them ever since, so has my girth.

Toot - you always come on late!

lionheart · 26/02/2008 22:28

Had a truly appalling couple of weeks workwise but am trying to rise above it and keep zen.

How are you?

lionheart · 26/02/2008 22:29

It would be better for me if you said they were awful.

Trying is hard.

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:30

It's all v. hectic here. As usual. I am starting to look old.

Hey, dd1 has been invited to a Raven audition on Saturday!

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:31

I can only get here late these days.

MrsCarrot · 26/02/2008 22:32

sorry, lionhart, I am not very tactful. Um, the victoris sponge wasn't very good.

Toot - on 'threads I'm on', the line stopped at the e and it said dd has been invited to a rave

lionheart · 26/02/2008 22:33

What's a Raven audition?

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:35

MrsC

Raven is a children's BBC programme where they do challenges.

MrsCarrot · 26/02/2008 22:36

Raven

MrsCarrot · 26/02/2008 22:36

I didn't get your e-mail btw, toot

TooTicky · 26/02/2008 22:39

Oh poo. Can't remember what I said now.

MrsCarrot · 26/02/2008 22:41

Oh, well, maybe one day all the missing ones will come in at once!

Am off to bed, night all.

lionheart · 26/02/2008 22:51

Goodnight, MrsC.

I know Raven. Those challenges are tough.

UnderRated · 27/02/2008 01:08

ahundred, what fantastic news. How wonderful. I'm all smiley now.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2008 07:49

good morning good morning
are we still celebrating?

melon, banana, grapes, raisins
and a 4 am start after a wee in the toilet (ds's not mine)
we seem to have reverted to co-sleeping, arse

OP posts:
lionheart · 27/02/2008 08:04

Why do you think that is Franny?

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2008 08:06

he's just stopped wearing nappies and he needs to wake up to do a wee every night, then can't get back to sleep
I don't know if he will a) get used to doing a wee and going back to sleep or b) grow out of needing to do a wee?
Does him getting up at least once every night mean that he was not actually ready? I thought there was a hormone that meant their urine was concentrated and they didn't need to get up? Is it mean to make him get up for a wee every night?

OMG - Boco just texted me and there was an earthquake last night, I seriously thought my bed was shaking because we had a ghost.
I was terrified.

Boco · 27/02/2008 09:20

I was freaked out too MrsC! The bed was going backwards and forwards and everything was rattling and shaking - and I repeatedly walloped dp until he woke up, but then it had stopped and he refused to believe me. We had a bet, I wanted to google at 1 am but he said go to sleep and don't do anymore talking please.

Oh 100x your news is amazing and fabulous! How wonderful!

So, when you're very famous, will you remember your vegetable roots? Can we all come to the launch?

It is marvelous.
