@Shirleyj123 I got my kit two weeks early, wasn't expecting it until next month. So far just doing the blood sugar monitoring, muffin tests, and sample gathering. Happy with it and looking forward to the results.

@PamelaDawes may I ask what you thought of the poo test etc - did it give you any interesting information? I have been considering it for a while now but was also just going to get a CGM and see my response times - the only thing that would be left out is the microbiome check...

@lanospxx I guess I was a bit blown away by the poo test detail. My report named (NAMED!!) over 120 different species of bacteria living in my guts and included the % of each I have got compared with the % of each in general pop.
There are also more details about a smaller number of named ones which current science suggests are directly involved with various aspects of health eg weight gain, vascular health etc.
Unfortunately you don’t received food recommendations directly linked to the named microbe (would have pleased my nerdy self!) but you do receive a list of approx 15 foods to increase to cultivate your own useful bacteria, and same to inhibit your own unhelpful ones.
These are then woven into the scoring system for you so that unhelpful microbe foods Will tip meal scores downwards and microbe helpful foods will tip scores up.

I'm looking forward to getting my results. Although I froze up and couldn't poo in the hammock when I was supposed to LOL!

I'm still doing food tests. Just finished my five days of blood glucose monitoring and seeing what spikes insulin and was intrigued by the difference made when food combining, adding different carbs, changing meal timings etc. I keep scanning my arm and then poring over the graphs to see how to flatten the curve and make the dips slow and steady. I love being my own science experiment.
