Sounds like you had a wonderful day OJ, so pleased for you. It must seem like a breath of fresh air to do something 'normal' like have a picnic with just Steve & the kids. I pray that you will have many more moments like these.

Wow, the plans for the conservatory are really coming together. Not long now until Steve will be back with you at home. Hope you have a good sleep after all of the fresh air and celebrations today. xxx

had a bloke come round this morning to meausure up for blinds all being well they will be fitted on friday
today my mate came round and she painted the walls whislt i fitted two new wall lights and i did some swearing whilst fixing two new slimline panel heaters to the wall, it seems i am not good with a drill! but it is all warm in there now.
went into see steve and helped him get washed a nd dressed ready for his scan, not sure when the results will be back, not even sure they will give us the results they have changed their minds a few times over wether steve should have the scan as not sure the results will help his state of mind.

whispywhisp · 03/03/2008 19:32

Wow OJ...you've done so much - well done you! Sounds like it'll be lovely and cosy for Steve. Hope the scan went ok. When do you hope Steve will come home? xxxxxxxx

onlyjoking9329 · 03/03/2008 19:50

well i want it to be nice for steve coming home.
i have no idea when he will be home it really depends on when they can get the 24hour carers set up.
when steve came home last time they had promised to get us a care for 4 hours a day, that didn't get sorted in time.

Izabella · 03/03/2008 19:51

What a lovely cosy room you are making for Steve, I'm sure he'll love it and enjoy being at home again.

Was an MRI or CT that Steve had today? I hope that you at least will get to know the result. I can understand why they are hesitant to tell Steve, but even there its a difficult one because its still his body and his life. Hopefully being at home again with you & the children will bring him into a place of peace. xxx
