Did it say "To A....Mother"? (No adjectives?)

It's great news that Steve can come home, and that you will be getting the support to help you keep him there.

Now stop biting holes in yourself, please.

Yes, I bet you don't get many mother's day cards that say f* off

(sorry, that was really dreadful of me...)

You're doing a fantastic job OJ, I am in total awe of you!

onlyjoking9329 · 01/03/2008 08:57

Mary I am sure there is a market for your kind of card it was so hard to find a card that didnt say wonderful , best or fantastic. Steve needed to give her a card it will be the. last one. He does for her and will be nice for her to keep. Of course it won't have occured to her that steve wwont be able to nip out andget me a mothers day card. But my mate took the kids out and some secret shoppping and the kids school have sent them home with stuff for me.

DH was reading the thread over my shoulder last night and asked if you realised what an amazing woman you are OJ? You are handling this with such grace!

shabster · 01/03/2008 20:50

Hi OJ - just popping in to catch up. Thinking of you, as always, much love and strength to you.

Izabella · 01/03/2008 21:04

Oj, it was good of you to buy that card for Steve to give to his mum. I know he will appreciate that you've done it. I hope your kids make a big fuss of you tomorrow. You deserve it. xxx

oj - for coping with three children you are a good woman

  • for coping with children with autism and special needs you are a great woman
  • for coping with the above and a husband with a brain tumor you are an incedible woman

but for buying a mother's day card for your mother in law you are F*G UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!

{Lilibet bows her head in awe of the niceness and overall loveliness that is oj!}

shabster · 01/03/2008 22:06

OJ - For the first time I had a nosey in your profile - I am so proud of you, I know I dont know you, but I would like to think if I was given the hand in life that you have been given I would be strong.

Your children are sooooo lovley - I also just realised that you are a multiple mummy, I almost live on the multiple thread!

onlyjoking9329 · 01/03/2008 23:43

well there are a few reasons i got the card, steve would want his mum to have a card, his mum will always keep the card and at the end of all this when steve dies i don't ever want to feel guilt that i did things wrong or didn't do the best that i could for steve. steve is what drives me our love is what keeps me going and the love of the kids.
