I marvel at your strength and courage and can't begin to imagine what this is like for you, your children, and Steve.

I agree with what others have said, it is the effects of the tumour talking, not your Steve. It must be agony for you to see him like this and its no wonder that you find it all too much to bear. I used to have many days like this and look back in wonder as to how I ever got through them, but somehow you are given the strength to get through that next hour.

Oh dear, OJ - I keep clicking on this thread hoping there will be a bit of good news but it's not going to happen, is it.

Poor, poor Steve - what a terrible condition to be in - and poor you, knowing it and not being able to make things better for him, although you love him so much and would do anything for him.
