For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Now good old Moz on the other hand... he is on Jonny Ross tonight [excited]

MrsC, I am a restrained kind of a person, I am savouring them

MrsCarrot · 01/02/2008 22:17

NO, Franny, I am not.

anyway, we are on to the frog now and there is nothing erotic about amphibians even if it is a horny toad.

Tatties - that is very impressive. I would have had two or three at least.

Vegetables, Aviatrix? There's no such thing anymore. Hadn't you heard?

Baked spud, spinach, blueberries, raspberries, mango, parsnips, juice. Oh dear.

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2008 07:59

I think we need a new title and a FRESH START

banana, raisins, orange, pear

dp and I are bickering about a new bed. This involves measuring ours lots of times, squabbling about how big it was when we bought it, and about how many inches in 150 cm

plus ds woke up at SIX to read stories which was really too early considering we had set the clock for him to come in at 6.45, and I was just lying worrying about what would happen when he had read stories for 20 mins and got fed up, when there was an almighty crash and we all had to go running in anyway as he had managed to hit his head in most spectacular fashion while getting up to get another story

Franny - poor boy with his head hitting but that aside he seems to be trying really hard.

anyone got an idea of something I can buy a friend for her 30th? She isw uber funky and has lots of artist type friends who will buy her astonishing presents so am feeling a little pressure!

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2008 08:44

for 30th I would buy something extremely frivolous like very trendy brand glittery makeup

if she is glittery make up type person that is. even if she isn't, she might like the fact you think she could be

BBBee · 02/02/2008 08:52

there is a good thing happening near me where you can go to taster dance classes of loads of diffrent things. I am doing pan african and belly dancing. Toot will report back. I already do african and love it - very sexy. Am dragging my friend along.

BBBee · 02/02/2008 08:53

right will get urban decay -know nothing of these things.

I am also thinking of getting her one of those tomato sauce dispensers shaped like a tomato like you get in greasy spoon cafes. what do you think?

FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2008 08:53

why don't you get her voucher to do lots of taster classes
unless she will despise it

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 02/02/2008 08:54

OP posts:
ZippiBabes · 02/02/2008 08:57

what about a necklace..you can get lots of cheap fun jewellery at the mo..it is my favourite thing for under a tenner

or some nice packaging

BBBee · 02/02/2008 08:58

good idea but dance classes are in my home town and she lives in my studying town 2hrs away.

Have you ever done dance classes? I like them (trying to hold head up as thread has taken a worrying exercise slant)

BBBee · 02/02/2008 08:59
