For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

The boat will be fab.

BBBee · 01/02/2008 19:53

I don't understand mrs c and the sperm quinoa thing -maybe she is going out with a huge giant?

ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 19:57

FrayedKnot · 01/02/2008 20:05

Lord, I didn;t like quinoa before but now

I have eaten very oddly today
Started off well with muesli, then a hemp seed bar, fruit... then it went a bit awry with a choc swiss roll, baked potato with tuna mayo, large muffin, slice of bread, large bowl of coleslaw and some felafel. With gaps in between.

I feel a bit queasy

I think the boat will be great. It has to beat the plastic reindeer anyway.

Tatties · 01/02/2008 20:27

Hello everyone

Lully sorry you've been having a tough time

OverRated, I teethe also every now and then; only in the last few years have 3 wisdom teeth just about poked through, and they all ache from time to time. I don't reckon there's room for them really.

Avi! I owe you an email don't I

MrsC We all must be ovulating or something (with the exception of Franny of course)

Boco · 01/02/2008 20:34

everyone is talking about sperm tonight it's very strange.

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 20:55

it is new moon we ARE all ovulating and it is even working on me, which is why I have not one but two sexual threads in the talk round up this week (JUST in case anyone had missed that )

OP posts:
Tatties · 01/02/2008 21:05

Is this pregnancy having that effect on you Franny? (It didn't with me)

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 21:08

it wasn't but I think at last it is

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 01/02/2008 21:11

exactly, lully, more often in the hair than on the arm. It's not giant sperm, just a globule of semen, that, heaven forbid, ends up somewhere you'd rather it didn't. This globule seems to be the size, colour and consistency of the quinoi as it curls out if its litle wiry case.

I will shut up about it now. Maybe I am ovulating too, I am certainly hormonal. I have a spot.

MrsCarrot · 01/02/2008 21:11

I noticed, Franny, I have mentioned it already.

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 21:14

oh did you [airily] I had forgotten [lies]
