For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

OP posts:

do you think I can tell them that we don't want it? No money has changed hands. or will they just lob it on our council tax or something and deliver it anyway?

oh i missed the boco is intriguing thread - is she?

what is frnny?

i notice she is the darling of the round up - adored the sex thread.

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:43

yes I made the ruddy large error of exclaiming "ooh I am on the round up TWICE" of course dp instantly said "what were the threads?" I have not yet found tactful way to tell him one was about people I fancy and one was about things he says when asking for sex

I think it will be good. I think it is funny that you are panicking over it. It will make a great sand pit!

Mrs Carrot, please do elaborate on the Quinoa

MrsCarrot · 01/02/2008 18:44

yes, twice in the round up. I've just looked again and Boco and franny are very intriguing indeed now, almost neck to neck.

Weeeeell, I think quinoi looks like congealed sperm if you look at it too closely so I don't. Yummy.

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:46

congealed sperm?

what you mean if the sperm were under a microscope or something?

i made some nice bread with hovis seeded brown bread flour can you tell me if improvers arent listed in the ingredients does that mean it doesnt have nay?

Boco · 01/02/2008 18:46

Hello Bee!
It's not a boco is intriguing thread - its a 'who do you find intriguing' thread. I am def not as I give everything away all the time. To be intriguing you probably have to keep a bit back for yourself.

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:47

and of COURSE I am panicking, a ruddy ginormous wooden boat is being delivered to my house next week because on a whim I decided it would make a nice present for ds

I need help

OP posts:
ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:47

link to the boat

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:49

it's not eBay
it's my local council
I will take photos and link once it is sitting in my garden like a big, old, abandoned, rotting, wooden, white elephant boat that a loon has bought

OP posts:
ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:50

roffle..didnt you take a pic of it on your phone or something

fullmoonfiend · 01/02/2008 18:50

Piratical at boat.

ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:51

are you goijng to have a themed garden..mississippi riverboat disaster 1863 or something?

ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:51

with ds as huckleberry finn

fullmoonfiend · 01/02/2008 18:51

it's ok, just stick fairy lights round it, your neighbours will think it is a feature. Your tree neighbours will be very envious of your taste and you will start a trend. Before you know it, someone will stick half a fibreglass shark through their roof in a bid to outdo you.....

OverRated · 01/02/2008 18:52

Yes link. Do you know it is ginormous? Did you have the measurements when you bud for it?

[bleurgh] at Mrs C's sperm.

And no idea about flour improvers. I'd like to think that if they aren't listed, they aren't there...

FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:53

a) I haven't got a phone
b) errr

I haven't actually seen the boat exactly. I mean, I have seen the type of boats they are selling. And I have sat in some and paddled and got wet. But I don't know what the actual, actual boat I have bought is like. We were meant to go and view them but I fell asleep instead. Or something.

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 01/02/2008 18:54

well I know it is quite big
3 or 4 people can sit in it
NQC has sat in one I should ask her if she thinks it is a good idea
she could do with a laugh

OP posts:
OverRated · 01/02/2008 18:55

pmsl at Franny's themed garden. I think you may need a gnome.

ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:55

you bought something you havn't seen eh?

and someone told me it was reckless to buy a cd without hearing it all first

think you are are very brave

MrsCarrot · 01/02/2008 18:56

not under a microscope franny, exactly the same size as quinoi, weirdly, the little bit that seems to escape and congeal on your rm or somthing? No? Well, perhaps that was in wilder days.

I thinkk a paddle boat will be great fun, if it was summer you'd be thrilled.

lullabyloo · 01/02/2008 18:57

link to thread pretty please

franny...the boat sounds wonderful,a friend in Devon has one in their garden & ds thinks it is the most fabulous thing ever

ZippiBabes · 01/02/2008 18:57

on you arm

not on your face then

or was that a.n.other thread?
