For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

DD wanted the emerald slippers so they could be friends with her ruby ones

OverRated · 26/01/2008 22:18

at FK going to the beach. Although, I do have one here but it just doesn't feel right. And you can be arrested if you go on it in winter

Boco, your day sounds lovely - Monsoon can be fab. I need a grown-up bag. I used to have one but squished nappies and sippy cups in it so now it looks like every other 'mummy' bag I have.

Glad to hear the make-up went well 100x.

I'm worn out and a bit blue today.

FrayedKnot · 26/01/2008 22:25

OR and how on earth could you be arrested for going on a beach?

DS insisted on us bringing back loads of bits of smelly cuttlefish from the beach

I could post you one if it would cheer you up

TooTicky · 26/01/2008 23:40

100x, do be a dear and check your emails if you haven't already.... thanks...

MrsCarrot · 27/01/2008 12:18

Did you enoy it? I was think about '10 things I hate about you' last night as The Bourne film has whatzername in it, Julia Stiles. I was wondering if ds1 would find it funny.

He is extremely grumpy today, who only knows what time they went to sleep and how much sugar they stuffed.

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2008 12:20

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2008 12:27

I am wanting to meet everyone for lunch

I am wanting to stay overnight in a hotel BY MYSELF and then the next day go and buy maternity clothes in london chain stores

I am getting a 'last meal of the condemned man' feeling every time I go out. I didn't go out in the evening, well, indeed anywhere without a baby strapped to me, for about 2.5 years after ds was born

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 27/01/2008 13:15

well we must go then! I may not be able to stay overnight as I am still in demand in the early hours but I could get away for the day. Are Saturdays good generally?

Franny - there will be an exhibition up in the arts place from our book and guess which one of mine will be on the wall? Thats right, that one, and I said can you put up a diffrent one and they said but we really like that one and I said but I have gone off that one and they said why and I said because, um, um, and suddenly explaning mnet and goats and so on seemed impossible and I said oh whatever and there we are and there it will be.

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2008 13:23

oh NO I am so sorry have you really really gone off that one? I loved it

I feel awful, NEVER show me any of your poetry again (as if you were ever going to )

I don't expect I can stay overnight either, it just sounded like such a nice thing to do...I usually work Saturdays but I have 29th March off

Oh, don't do a sad face, I think it's quite funny really! It's weird thinking of something being public when it written in a different, more daring time, and I am not in that space now. Perhaps I will be again soon, I am writing a lot more atm though extraction is a bit glue-like.

End of march sounds ages away though I guess it isn't really. Sunday trains are an arse and midweek will be tricky no? Lets wait till everyone is about and then throw some dates around. Did we do that part by e-mail before I can't remember?

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2008 13:51

yes, we did it by email

that is the only Saturday I could do - well maybe Feb 16th at a pinch but I have quite a busy week then, and was planning to fall over on Saturday really

what is up with Sunday trains?

Tatties · 27/01/2008 13:59

Hello all

I said before I would really like to meet, but we have quite a bit on so I don't know how realistic it will be for me. I couldn't come on my own (though would send boys off while we met for lunch) and we would have to stay over... Are weekdays out?

Some new photos on my profile, shout if you can't see them!

MrsCarrot · 27/01/2008 14:04

Lovely photos Tatties! The leaf one is so pretty and ds looks wonderful in that square. Now reply to my e-mail please, I, um, might need to go to PO tomorrow.

I thought Sunday trains were usually a pain with bus transfers in the middle. I don't mind Sundays at all though - I could even send them all off to a museum. In fact, I could pretty much come whenever, even weekdays, if I tell DH in advance - his work is pretty flexible. I think we should be spontaneous and go next weekend.

Tatties · 27/01/2008 14:12

MrsC I replied yesterday! Has it not arrived?

Sunday/Monday would probably be best for me

MrsCarrot · 27/01/2008 14:51

No, I haven't got it, Tatties. I just checked again.

ZippiBabes · 27/01/2008 15:03

the island turned out to be an action movie which within its narrow remit was ok..i am now watching Cashback, which apparentlty has gratuitous nudity

fullmoonfiend · 27/01/2008 15:09

oh Tatties, your little sapling is so gorgeous...I want him, I want him! Nice place for a walk, that looks!

Tatties · 27/01/2008 15:14

Ok MrsC I have re-sent it!

How are you FMF?

FrannyandZooey · 27/01/2008 15:15

If it isn't a weekend, I couldn't come on my own, but that's ok I suppose

I don't want to do it next weekend

I want to look forward to it for a few weeks at least
