For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh yes very funny i think
I like aerodynamics of pork, ease, and little bits of baby I think one is called

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:04

my thoughts

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:04

not sure i do funny in books

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 18:06

oh and kansas in august

they are kind of offbeat romantic comedies but written by a cultured gay man

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:09

oh franny you were the only person whoseemed to have any idea what iwas trying to say on that adult chat rtoom thingy...i sometimes wonder if anyone understnads me at all ever

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 18:09

this one probably my favourite

shall I read your thread zip? has it got spoilers in it? If the new one is v good I would like to read it

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 18:11

I didn't do a very good job explaining though did I? nobody got what we were on about

I think it is one of those things you have to have done it. I utterly agree with you, dangerous pursuit if you are not sinjgle (and actually quite risky if you are, unless you like a bit of erm, complication in your life)

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:13

oh yes no spoilers

yes i think you have to have done it

i couldn't explain either but clearly the op had a pretty good understanding or he wouldn't have been asking

a lot more can happen online than you can imagine i think if you don't experience it

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:15

ooh i shall definitely have to get it then

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:18

i like this thread title because it has pointy words in it like crunching on an apple and then eating mints

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 18:19

would you like to do a swop and loan me your one and I will send an early one of your choice? I have most dotting about somewhere I think

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:20

ooh yes definitely thank you

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 18:22

mind you I last offered to loan someone a book in I think Nov an d I still haven't sent it

SantaBabyBeenAnAwfulGoodGirl · 08/01/2008 18:25

lol

i nearly offered this guy i've been chatting to {online hoho} to meet up and help himself to any of the books i am supposed to be getting rid of in my cull but suddenlt felt i couldn't quite promise to detach myself yet from thewm

apart from of course meeting some guy in a layby with a boot ful of books

filthymindedvixen · 08/01/2008 18:56

FK you are a goddam title genius. Yee-haw. etc etc. Or is that all so last thread now?

OverRated · 08/01/2008 19:01

Am loving the title. You lot are so clever with these things.

No F&V so far but lots of coffee

Am also loving the hot diggety & ride 'em cowboy bits If I weren't so tired, I'd add one but I can't think of any. I think that hearing them every day means I don't even notice these phrases. Will have a think!

MrsCarrot · 08/01/2008 19:09

last time I was a cowboy I had to sit on my look-out alone till I donned a high necked gingham and then 100x and Franny joined in.

FrannyandZooey · 08/01/2008 19:11

yes I read a book about pioneers the other day MrsC and I thought of you. Lots. In a special way.

MrsCarrot · 08/01/2008 19:13

aw, thanks. I have been writing something today about delirium and there is a frontier in that, well a frontier wind anyway, not that that makes sense. It's far from finished. Was it the tomahawk that put you off?

BBBee · 08/01/2008 19:13

is the cowboy stuuf for OR? if so yee-ha to you too.

Oi zppi and franny I posted on the chat room thread - was I crap? I think I was vague actaully.

Okay - I have to get up at five to go back to my course and then I will not be able to skip on and off here lalalalaing like I have lately - shame.

Will be better with FV this term though.

Off to swear at my essay,

xxx

FrayedKnot · 08/01/2008 19:25

I wasn;t happy about the apple strudel bit, actually, but really, what on earth else edible rhymes with strudel and noodle

F&V has been going really well these last few days.

Salad with avocado, beetroot, carrot, peppers & red onion, with tortilla wraps with beans. Leftover veg curry for lunch, and half a punnet of blueberries mid-morning.

MrsCarrot · 08/01/2008 19:26

oh, the strudel is crucial, FK, for the alpy feeling. It really is very good.

filthymindedvixen · 08/01/2008 20:10
MrsCarrot · 08/01/2008 20:14

eh?

filthymindedvixen · 08/01/2008 20:27

sorry, my cowboy/girl vocab is fairly limited to bad musicals....
