For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Land Drainage

Care should be taken not to cause flooding of the site during construction. Avoid temporary dams and compacted areas, holes which become filled with water and water logging of areas by contriving temporary drainage. Hard surfaces should be permanently designed to drain away from buildings and drains included as necessary to ensure area drains quickly and without damage. A small pump can quickly drain an area after flooding. Ensure drains are not blocked with materials during excavation and construction.

Lol @ Toots & Franny shacking up in a cheap hotel

Bra shopping is the worst. Along with Jeans. I went to get some yesterday but gave up. I?ll just have to make do with the 2 pairs that I have a do a lot of washing.

I want to meet Franny?s moustache lady. I remember teaching 8 and 9 year olds who were discussing which razor they used to shave their legs. 8 year olds, ffs. It made me very

Interesting to read about Tryptophan. Where does one buy it? I often have cheese cravings.

Tomatoes on a compost heap can be a pita because they remain in the compost and grow wherever you spread it. I quite liked having little tomatoes plants sprouting all over the place though!

Feel better soon FK.

Zippi, what are you studying?

I?ll do provision of staff Facilities:

Portocabin with seats for lunch/ breaktime. Desk for manager type person. And a kettle to keep everyone happy, Builders like tea. They will need a loo. Preferably not one from the company Oui, Oui, who provide the ones round here.

FrayedKnot · 09/12/2007 19:40

LOL TooT they even whipped their skirts off in my kitchen

My grandma came for tea and she brought Bucks Fizz. Hence the dance routine

I am trying to be better because tomorrow I am supposed to be doing a quiz at work and serving soup for charity week.

I am forcing myslef to repeat the mantra that this is good for the community spirit and lifts us above the depressed automatons at DH' workplace who come home after a 9 hour day and cry because it;s so shitty.

But I'm not doing very well.

How's it looking, Zippi? Have you finished?

Potatoes also sprout in compost heaps. I am still eagerly awaiting my black dalek from the council.

BBBee · 09/12/2007 21:39

hello

I can't keep up ladies - compost and lady garden management and zip is selling a house/writing an essay.

Hope you are all glowing and wonderful. I went to the supermarket (yes I am afraid I do that) and I bought 80 satsumas. I am trying hard aren't I.

FZ - a dear friend of mine bought me an advent calendar from the national gallery. He is crap as it arrived this weekend but apart from that it is DIVINE!

FrannyandZooey · 09/12/2007 21:43

9 doors at once feels so wrong - surely I will be struck down.

Tried to make up a complicated schedule of one door each for a few days and then turns but it failed as I am unable - it seems - to count in threes

fz read the stocking thread - um - get him a toy farmer and some animals to reanact farm stories for ds.

am crap at this aren;t I.

some mint tea and turkish delight

an oven glove

a book about egypt

BBBee · 09/12/2007 22:10

your dp is getting so much better with the cooking. I bestow him a prize for a fine effot.

FrannyandZooey · 09/12/2007 22:12

yes it was a top effort wasn't it

I shall overlook the 6 eggs and the half an edam that also went into it (it was ruddy nice actually) and tell him that you have noticed the improvement

why egypt? My family are obsessed with Egypt. Me and dp have zero desire to go there

BBBee · 09/12/2007 22:18

A nice glockenspiel is a good thing IMO. They start at about £20, you could get a lovely one for £40.

Has he got brio?

Real garden tools for the garden? You can get real little wheelbarrows and rakes and stuff, not toy ones
