For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTickyDoves · 09/12/2007 09:52

at mesmerised

Blimey, I daren't burn mine - I only have 2 that actually fit and don't have gaping holes. I hate buying them. I feel like a child in bra departments.

TooTickyDoves · 09/12/2007 09:54

Erm, no. But I don't need to. Nobody needs to. You just go to my homeopath and have a remedy when necessary (not very often) and that's it really. The remedies just give a nudge to get your body back on track.

Yes, more pressure and at a younger age.

I know puberty is starting earlier but even so.

I have heard eight year olds say that they are fat and wanting to weight themselves every morning. I fear for them

Wiki says mango has tryptophan, plus chocolate, oats, bananas, cottage cheese (hmm really fancy some cottage cheese now...)

Zippi I will do Reduction of Unwanted Damage.

Lock up all 4 year olds in the vicinity and do not let them even look at it.

I had blueberries for breakfast but they tasted a bit funny. Plus melon and raisins.

Our new Christmas compost bin has arrived. It is huge I am scared of composting, I can admit that here among friends I hope.

zippitippitoes · 09/12/2007 13:08

i have been doing composting this week at college..you can put in shredded paper no cooked food and not too much woody bits no bread as that is cooked food and opinions differ on orange peel

FrannyandZooey · 09/12/2007 13:13
