For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I don't melt in that revolting way. I remain perky.

TooTicky · 24/11/2007 20:22

Either Totnes or very close.
Here in fact.

MrsCarrot · 24/11/2007 20:23

Ah, Toot looking like Winona in a halo of blue brandy fire. I think you'd win.

Could I have cream instead?

TooTicky · 24/11/2007 20:24

Fire?

TooTicky · 24/11/2007 20:31

I see. Threaten to set me alight and then run away, would you? Hmm?

MrsCarrot · 24/11/2007 20:43

no no, am on postnatal thread where they encourage me to be more organised.

Toot - I will forgo cream and butter on my pudding just for you. This is a lie the truth.

TooTicky · 24/11/2007 20:48

I can now go to bed happy.

MrsCarrot · 24/11/2007 20:53

Are you going to bed?

My dc's are still up, again, and the place is a tip. I have had too much wine and as much as trout bones stick out of the side of the laptop I cannot be faffed to get on with it.

TooTicky · 24/11/2007 20:55

Yes. Dd2 is asleep in my lap and I have some catching up to do. Only dd1, ds1 and ds2 are jogging around the house in sporty gear

BBBee · 24/11/2007 21:01

I am going to bed after I have iced.

I have never, ever, stayed up all night.

I once managed until about 5am when I was on holiday in Corfu (during anotehr lifetime, I think)
