For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

FrannyandZooey · 10/11/2007 14:21

I don't know. People don't usually have 2 lunches do they?

I have got to go and do the party now. I am feeling like I could happily sit down for about 4 or 5 days.

lullabyloo · 10/11/2007 15:13

tidying bookshelf & found a book with great 10/10 title
'The house of Pomegranates' Oscar Wilde

lullabyloo · 10/11/2007 15:14

off to paint things
see you after fireworks

lionheart · 10/11/2007 15:26

Two lunches is not excessive.

MrsC, hello, you are a Disney veteran now, there is no point in fighting it anymore.

Boco · 10/11/2007 15:33

Grrr my brother has chosen demanding girlfriend over lovely time with US! DD is furious as he is very unreliable. Oh well. We went to the green fair and i found a book of childrens stories with beautiful plates by Arthur Rackham among others, for 10p!

Littlerach with dd2 cold air is what makes it worse, when we go out she gets in a bit of a panic as the cold air means she struggles to breathe more. Dr says i have to tie a scarf round her nose and mouth whenever we leave the house to avoid this, which isn't happening as she gets into even more of a panic.

MrsC Hope you had a lovely birthday

I have been cataloguing. I am knackered. I have got to the stumbly stage. Sorry, I am whinging.

Dd2 has just handed me a well-licked piece of oatcake.

Oh, one of dd2's shoes has broken It is a Start-rite one! She has only had them 2 months! This is not a good time for this to happen.

Ooh, me! I'll play! Remind me of your email address. I know how to start games now

lullabyloo · 10/11/2007 16:26

Toot.....what size shoes does dd take?

FrannyandZooey · 10/11/2007 16:28

I will catch up on S%^$£"le later if anyone is still holding out any hope of me ever playing again

party was LOVELY, I wish they were all so easy. 8 one-year olds and they were all delighted with everything. Hoorah.

Dp is trying to cook spaghetti squash.

Boco what is the book? Do you like Harry Clarke? Sorry about your brother.

Avi do I really have to? What is in them that is not in seeds, then? I only like peanut butter and I don't like any kind of whole nuts, not really. I can make a nut roast with them all squidged up with something else. perhaps I will do one next week.

I am not sure about two lunches. I don't really suit being a larger size. I have skinny arms and legs whatever I eat and it just goes on my chin and my back. Not very alluring.

TooTicky · 10/11/2007 16:28

These ones are 5F. She is really distraught about it, poor little thing

TooTicky · 10/11/2007 16:30

Franny, do you have the Cranks book? Their nut roast is yummy and very simple.
What about hazelnuts? You can't dislike hazelnuts!
