For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh I think you'll have a great time MrsC. Mine all loved it. One of dh's fights was about a hot dog. You will need the oat cakes I think.

lullabyloo · 05/11/2007 12:18

sorry....had a depressed mother to deal with...again .

ok......100x....ds is 3.3
will I have to take a camping stove & hamper then??? >
ds will not eat crap
(he did shame me at the party though by ignoring his crudites, houmus, grissini, cheese, fruit, mini quiches, tortilla etc & choosing to eat 5 homemade jam heart biscuits...one after the other)....much to the delight of the non lentilly mothers....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

lullabyloo · 05/11/2007 12:19

children go free until march ish dont they???????
I am thinking up money making schemes so I can take friend & her two children too....they would love it so much

ahundredtimes · 05/11/2007 12:21

MrsC had better research this for you this week. I can't remember there being anything available other than crap, but I might be wrong.

Perhaps we just ate crap? We had lunch in the Pirates of the Carribean Ride, and that was oddly rather enjoyable. I liked that ride too.

lullabyloo · 05/11/2007 12:24

i adore Paris....we used to go twice a year,spring & Autumn...pre ds

The Disneyland hotel right at the entrance looks splendiferously amazing.
I need to be close as dh will probably be in an eternally bad mood & want to spend all day in the gym or running or swimming as per usual when we go away.Ds & I will ,I expect be largely left to our own devices.

lullabyloo · 05/11/2007 12:36

avi....I meant to comment earlier..sorry
I am v. & for you...I really am
They are most inconsiderate, selfish people & I'm afraid that I would ask very nicely that they come & help tidy up the garden & warn you of their party intentions with good notice in the future.....so you can plan an escape......grrrrrrrrrrrrr

FrannyandZooey · 05/11/2007 12:52

You know I often feel of all the lovely things people say they are doing on here, but I would sooner [insert horrible graphic fate] than go to Eurodisney.

Hope you all have a great time there though, with the crowds, and the plastic, and the shite food, and the queues, and the, well, DISNEY

100 I am coming to the conclusion that everyone on MN dreams about me at least once a week. When I started the thread about me being pg, two different people said they had recently dreamt I was pg. And those were just the ones prepared to admit it.

Am eating bread, cream cheese, avocado, red pepper, chickpeas, and beetroot. Does that sound ok? I think I am eating alright but was crap at the weekend because I wanted a break and let dp do all the food. So was variations on the theme of cheese, bread and potatoes. At one point I said stoutly "I need Vitamin C!" and he brought me an orange

MrsCarrot · 05/11/2007 13:08

Alright, Franny, don't make it seem any worse

ds1 will like the pirates and film stuff and DD will like the castle and fairies and the real dragon in the dungeon, and dh will moan about the beer and I will have my oatcakes and refuse to get in the spirit try on tinkerbell earrings and it will all be fine.

A whole hour or more of not having to speak >not even a murmur of vehicle talk,,..>>

Franny...when I was a child I was invited to proper Disneyland by my best friend, but didn't want to go....it just didn't appeal
I feel differently now....ds I know will find it all utterly magical and awesome...& that's what makes me {smile]

MrsCarrot · 05/11/2007 14:17

you can tell this thread has got to me

I have just packed celery, carrots, apples and raisins in with the oat and rice cakes.

I can't eat chips and hotdogs for three days. I will balloon and they will have to get some string to tie me to the pram and I will have a puckered mouth like in Shrek.

That was Dreamworks though wasn't it, not Disney. I will be in the worng place.

Someone kick me off here, pleeeasse

fullmoonfiend · 05/11/2007 14:21

Oh I'm sure you'll be able to buy other stuff aside from Le Hotdog and Les frites.

I imagine they'll also sell popcorn, fudge, donuts, ice cream and chocolate-covered raisins....

GO AND PACK

lionheart · 05/11/2007 14:43

The galleries, the architecture, the character breakfasts Left Bank.

Have fun, Mrs C.

Thanks Tatties for that game (which I lost).
