For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Tatties - I will do the CAT thing tomorrow. I am intrigued now.

fullmoonfiend · 01/11/2007 21:54

I'm sorry to snigger during your distress MrsC but the thought of us describing you as 'bad tit' has done for me!
(I do genuinely feel for you though and hope things improve)

Tatties - I feel strangely bereft that you are now out of sync with me.....

I'm orf to bed

nighty nighty you busy, bustly people...x

fullmoonfiend · 01/11/2007 21:55

or should it be bustley?? Am I implying you are all bosomy?? Gah! My head hurts with thinking.

TooTicky · 01/11/2007 23:21

No, bustles are the bum-enlarging bits.

TooTicky · 01/11/2007 23:30

Oh, just seen the time. Are you all in bed?
Okay, I'll just tidy up 100x's satsuma peelings.
Goodness, there are a lot of them.
And Franny's cushion mountain looks rather unwieldy.

chocolate cake for FZ
hair serum for 100
bacon sandwich and vegetable oil for PSW
crying chocolate for bad tit
love to you all.

BBBee · 02/11/2007 06:42

oh and can I add SATSUMAS - of course and only. It was only satsumas when I was little and now if you don;t pay attention you get a bag of firm fleshed eerily sweet imposters.

ONLY SATSUMAS.

100 I have been worrying about your mid life crisis. Is it your hair crisis that has precipitated this, or is it Mr100 turning 40, or something else, or a combination of everything? [breathless]

I have had 2 apples, 2 pears, half an orange, raisins, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, soya milk, ground almonds
and oats

so many parts of my life are becoming secret from other parts of my life

it is bewildering me

fullmoonfiend · 02/11/2007 09:11

how do you mean Franny? Is it the keeping the pg secret in RL or is that in RL you are more known for Big Mac munching than quinoa crunching...

FrannyandZooey · 02/11/2007 09:52

LOL no in RL I am known as even more of a goody two shoes than I am on here

I suppose the pg thing. And a few other things, I am not sure

OP posts:
fullmoonfiend · 02/11/2007 09:53

you ok?

IdrisTheDragon · 02/11/2007 09:56

Hello .

I fell asleep after putting DS and DD to bed last night. DH arrived home at 8:30 to find me in bed and not wanting to move. Either I stay up too late or fall asleep too early.

I am next to the fruit bowl. I will eat something out of it.

FrannyandZooey · 02/11/2007 09:57

yes I think so, sorry if am sounding plaintive

am just feeling a bit vulnerable, but nothing major

I am being opaque aren't I? sorry

Go and see my singing lady mom Franny, will cheer you up no end.

Have eaten Cheerios and a satsuma today, oh and a piece of toast with marmite. I thought of MrsC whilst eating it, and of Coleridge (or was that opium?)

Must go off and do things today. Life is busy. My hair has calmed itself somewhat overnight. The crisis may be averted. But in answer to your question Franny, I think the hair was a direct result of a larger crisis, mostly brought on by looking at photographs from Venice and just not recognising myself AT ALL. I think I'm 28, any photographic proof to the contrary takes me by surprise.

IdrisTheDragon · 02/11/2007 10:03

DD and I are waiting for the washing machine repairing man to come and repair the washing machine.

It is lovely and sunny and it would be nice to be outside. But a functioning washing machine is rather more sensible.

Hello Franny .

fullmoonfiend · 02/11/2007 10:05

I could just feel 'plaintive' and 'vulnerable' radiating off your posts! I don't wish to trivialise your feelings but tis to be expected in your current state. Stop thinking so much, and carry on doing all the healthy, happy things you've always been doing. Be kind to yourself. (Go and eat some mango )

fullmoonfiend · 02/11/2007 10:05

What a coinicidence 100, I'm 28 too!

I am. Really.

IdrisTheDragon · 02/11/2007 10:07

Hello also 100x and FMF .

fullmoonfiend · 02/11/2007 10:09

Hi Idris, I'm leaving now as i must do some work! See you soon x

IdrisTheDragon · 02/11/2007 10:09

I am not 28. Although it wasn't that long ago.
