For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page.

No I fancy Pink next

she seems like a goer

lionheart · 12/10/2007 21:13

It doesn't say anything else. I guess you would need the stand more than the pan, so that you can have your hands free--

I wonder if any of the camping people use things similar to this.

I build a fire with my DS1 (5) sometimes. It is wicked. Lots of throwing things onto the pyre and dancing.

If you are there to supervise which of course, you would be, this would be ace.

I have to show you one other thing they do.

lionheart · 12/10/2007 21:16

broad at PSW

lionheart LOL, we have our own patented pulley system as you may recall

we just haven't got a big enough garden to do fires in without a bit of planning. How can we do it? he is desperate. We need something metal, to have it in? Or do we just dig up a piece of turf and put it back afterwards? Our patch of grass is tiny so I am loathe to destroy it, really.

lionheart · 12/10/2007 21:37

Would something like this do the trick?

FrannyandZooey · 12/10/2007 21:39

Lionheart I think so, yes. What do you reckon? Is it a bit poncy to have to buy a bowl thing to have a fire in? But we do have a small garden.

Tatties · 12/10/2007 21:42

Indeed, I am crying on the inside (partly to do with s@^&££!*)

lionheart · 12/10/2007 21:50

Not at all, it will be great. I bet if you went to a camping shop or Army surplus you could get a pan to cook up some soup or hot chocolate or something.

Tatties, don't be sad, didn't you just beat me (and Franny is about to do the same)?

IdrisTheDragon · 12/10/2007 21:53

Tatties, you should play me at scrabvble and then you will not be sad .

pinkspottywellies · 12/10/2007 22:11

PILs are having a HUGE bonfire in the firld this year because they've had loads of trees and bushes cut down. The pile of wood is quite an imposing sight.

I thought about a bonfire when I was cutting down our enormous buddlia (sp?) today but I don't want to ruin the grass either! We have a bit of concrete behind the garage but I think it would be too close to the garage and a bit dangerous!

pinkspottywellies · 12/10/2007 22:12

Field, not firld!

Tatties · 12/10/2007 22:12

Ooh go on then Idris - CAT me if you want a SLOW game

Lullabyloo · 12/10/2007 22:14

huff

pinkspottywellies · 12/10/2007 22:23

I do Lull. I want to come and live in your kitchen and eat your leftovers

lionheart · 12/10/2007 22:24

Why, only yesterday, I was contemplating your general lushness, Lullaby.
