For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

I am being very generous but you may have scraped almost 5 portions there

now what are you going to eat tomorrow? We want to see a CONSIDERABLE improvement if we are to think about badge privileges

I am tall-ish, and I couldn't find anyone who would admit to being taller

they aren't ordinary, are they lionheart? What do you think? Do they count?

Jofan there are a few strugglers here - but it does help. I started on about 3 portions a day and i usually manage at least 7 - 8 now. I hit bingo a couple of times a week i reckon. My grandad was called Bingo. I never hit him though.

Once, i had this awful awful job interview, a whole other wittery post - with the black farmer - you know? from tv. I'd love to say mean things about him. But anyway, i came home in messy tears, the kind where you can't explain as you're hiccuping and snotty. And dp looked like father dougal for a bit standing by the door, then rushed off to the kitchen and came back looking triumphant with a huge sandwich. It actually really cheered me up, the ridiculousness of that sandwich.

Who is the black farmer? Is it a code?

I usually say "Tatties has great breasts" so I think "you are cute" is probably allowable

I wish dh would make me a sandwich when I'm sad.

Black farmer had a series where he took young directionless working class people and made them work on his pig farm in the countryside. He's black, and a farmer. He's from a poor working class back ground, but has had voice training and is very posh and lord of the manor and rides around on a horse being all straight talking and trying to shake up the directionless youths.

Shall we have a bell that rings and goes "BINGO!" every time that someone gets 10 portions?

The black farmer makes expensive condiments. He might be an MP as well. He did a talk at my local ethical shop.

What does he do though Pink? I tried to train dp to say 'gosh, you seem sad, what's wrong? Shall we talk about it?', but i got cheese and cucumber with mayonnaise on granary. I shouldn't really complain.

Where is Anne? She is very comforting at this time of night. Except when she is telling me off for talking about shoes

He phoned me, and asked me if i wanted a job when i'd just left college and was mucking about a bit. And he said he had just the thing, and i went for an informal chat - and it was awful. I'd known him when i was small and hadn't realised but there was complicated history and resentments and fallings out with my mum and him and his ex girlfriend my mums best friend. and i got there and he told me i'd never do anything with my life and never achieve anything and to give up now! And i cried on the tube. God i think i still believe him.

DH just kind of ignores me Boco in the hope that I'll go away I think.
