For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

100x can't be on your doorstep Avi, she has to stay in because I might pop round for a bath.

ahundredtimes · 04/10/2007 23:24

She's gone a bit quiet on me, which is a good thing actually. I passed on all those websites you lot gave me, and she's found a slinging site, and they do meet-ups I think. So you were all very helpful in helping me to help her. Thank you.

In case anybody suddenly spills details about their mysterious island....

ahundredtimes · 04/10/2007 23:25

WHERE DO YOU LIVE AVI?

Lincolnshire?
Northumberland?
Saki?

at 100x recoiling in horror

ahundredtimes · 04/10/2007 23:27

Sark, I meant Sark not Saki. You DO NOT live on a rather over-rated short story writer, oh no.

Yes, I must go to bed too.

Not that island in the middle of the Thames?

(Are we being intrusive? Feel free to tell us to shove off)

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:28

100x is in the corner reserved for mooncups and mynors.

I may wear my coat. It is a bit medievalist though.

mumsnet names I think, some are worse than others in public though

I must go to bed too. My head hurts and my toes are cold.

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:31

yes, that is fine with me. I think we are intrigued as you seem to have so much more space than we do.

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:32

Slippers, Toot, you need slippers.

Tatties · 04/10/2007 23:32

Oh yes I had purple-ish hair once

ahundredtimes · 04/10/2007 23:33

Oh yes Avi, sorry. I don't like people asking me things much. I was playing really. I was playing with the whole Utopian Sark thing.

Sorry. Playing and idle nosiness for exactly the reason MrsC has said.

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:38

Space

I would love some

to have an outside to all four walls

but I live in a terrace

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:46

Has anyone else fed the fish?

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:49

Gosh it's dark.

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:50

I think I heard a loofah

MrsCarrot · 04/10/2007 23:51

No. Must have been the wind.
