For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

MsCarrot · 12/09/2007 21:18

well, I've been too, and I think I gave quite good advice actually. You may of course disagree.

I had to grit my teeth to feed F before bed. Off to get in another steaming ginger bath.

ahundredtimes · 12/09/2007 21:23

Yes MsC I thought you gave good advice too.

It kicked off a bit.

Still not watching the football. . . have broken promise. Oh dear.

MsCarrot · 12/09/2007 21:25

Aaargh, that science abbreviation again, will think further while in the bath.

Can't believe how much discussion has taken place over the apple!

pinkspottywellies · 12/09/2007 21:34

I'm going to bed now.

Franny, hope you feel a bit less wobbly about the nursery situation on your return from the gym. That thread has got quite long and you've got lots of back up and understanding!

lionheart · 12/09/2007 21:38

filthymindedbolshevixen · 12/09/2007 21:42

Dear franny. You seemd to have a lot of support on your angry apple thread so I haven't posted on it. But I did look. And a small piece of my heart shrivelled at the thought of your Angelic One being denied his special shiny apple...

The miserable bollocky cunts!

lionheart · 12/09/2007 21:44

I thought you made a jolly good point about the language we use, avi.

pinkspottywellies · 12/09/2007 21:46

Here here, FMV!

AllGonePossum · 12/09/2007 21:46

Is there too much testosterone around your football match 100?

ahundredtimes · 12/09/2007 21:52

I can't think of anything better for 10/10ers to fall out over. Unless it was a greengage of course.
