For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

There is radical action all over the shop Idris.

but not here.

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:00

Oh, god, I can't think of a radical name as well, or is my ms enough?

BBBee · 11/09/2007 22:00

Idris it is something of a protest over the horridness on MN at the moment. I think msnet is being sort of sabotaged.

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:00

pointy ms = pointy nose

BBBee · 11/09/2007 22:00

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 22:00

I think I will stay happily safe in here. Although a little worried about the number of mines. Are we truely safe?

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:01

I was carrotcake before I got married

ahundredmines · 11/09/2007 22:01

lol.

There's a thread above us saying 'What To Do About Ipswich'.

Sorry, this made me laugh.

FrannylinePankhurst · 11/09/2007 22:01

Carota looked quite revolutionary

do you like mine? or I could take CitizenFranny out of mothballs?

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 22:02

I really do avoid the horrid threads. And avoid the threads saying they are avoiding the horrid threads. I do have opinions, but prefer keeping them to myself.

Wouldn't mind a small name change though (although not IdrisTheCuntingDragon)

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 22:03

I don't think anything can be done about Ipswich.

Boco · 11/09/2007 22:04

From in here you can here muffled cries and screams and crashes of MN being torn up. Every now and then i dive into the action and throw a chair or something, then dive back again.

Boco · 11/09/2007 22:04

Ipswich is a terrible thing. I live near it.

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:04

no no, stay pankhurst, it's good, and skirty.

Idris - I like Idris

BBBee · 11/09/2007 22:05

I hated my humanities teacher - he was a bit pervy. I can;t remember anyone I could posibly be.

ahundredmines · 11/09/2007 22:05

OH NO.

It was 'What do you KNOW about Ipswich.'

Shame

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 22:05

I am probably quite a long way from Ipswich but in that general overall direction. I shall consult google maps and find out.

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:05

you didn't say that on the 'Im moving to Ipswich' thread though did you, Boco?

FrannylinePankhurst · 11/09/2007 22:05

ooh yes

lionheart · 11/09/2007 22:06

Was he responsible for teaching you revolutionary things, BBB?

BBBee · 11/09/2007 22:06

I know what you mean Boc - I nip out nad get scared and leave the hardcore to it.

I went hunt sabatouring once - I was crap at that too - I hid in the van because a beater swore at me.

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 22:06

oi, don't stand so close

Boco · 11/09/2007 22:07

I didn't say anything about Ipswich on that thread. I said Eye is nice, and arranged to go for a cup of tea with someone, but i was careful not to mention Ipswich at all.
