For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I love lentil soup. I haven't made that for ages I might do it tomorrow.

Today I've had salad for lunch and chilli and coriander king prawns with stir fry for dinner. Carrots, peppers, onions, spring greens, spinach, yellow courgette and celery.

Third day of no wine and no chocolate.

Hello Idris, i'm going to be nosy and look at your profile soon. I sent you tulips today.

MrsCarota · 11/09/2007 21:43

Hello Idris

ahundredmines · 11/09/2007 21:43

I'm running out of steam on my Goldilocks thread. Can we just post here and bump it off?

BBBee · 11/09/2007 21:44

doesn;t work online does it? Never mind.

I told my dp the goat herding one and he said 'oh can you have goat herding parties' whilst watching some cricket or something witht hat pretend listening face that he does.

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:44

My typing has gone to pot. But not due to anything like alcohol. Or anything like that.

I had a good birthday this year. I think it helped being on a Saturday and feeling nicely looked after and cared for.

Usually I get to the end of a birthday and feel rather .

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:44

Thank you for the tulips Boco. They are very lovely .

Boco · 11/09/2007 21:44

Oh but it's made me feel better that you'd even repeat it BBB.

Boco · 11/09/2007 21:45

what's the goldilocks thread?

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 21:45

I feel thinner, but a little meaner too, like my nose has gone pointy

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:47

DH called as his board (or should that be bored) meeting ended a little while ago. He will be home in about 45min I think.

He suggested we could do something in bed other than sleep. I realised I have no idea when we last had sex. This is probably bad .

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:49

Just made the mistake of looking at active conversations.

In the news is a very popular topic .

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 21:49

Me neither, Idris. Perhaps thats my problem.

Boco · 11/09/2007 21:54

Does sex make your nose squashier? Is that why Owen has such a lovely squashy nose?

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 21:56

Ew, what a thought

ahundredmines · 11/09/2007 21:56

I love the way 10/10 is right up there, holding its own, regardless of all the madness around it.

I heart 10/10

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:56
FrannylinePankhurst · 11/09/2007 21:57

my nose is pointy as a pointy thing

hey Owen and I could have the most perfectly nosed children

unlike me and dp. I could see ds had his nose even in the womb. They showed me the scan photos and I said "He's got your NOSE!"

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 21:57

Mines gone pointy

BBBee · 11/09/2007 21:57

no not owen again - he is not nice - really.

ds has dismissed me from reading a bedtime story tonight in favour of him reading his reading book which is kind of good I suppose.

How was DD today bock-o?

MsCarrot · 11/09/2007 21:58

How funny, Franny, that happened to us too

BBBee · 11/09/2007 21:58

no. NO sex noses and owen man. No.

FrannylinePankhurst · 11/09/2007 21:58

My nose gets pointier the older I get

this is not good

IdrisTheDragon · 11/09/2007 21:58

Why is everyone changing their names today? Is there something I have missed?
