You must have been so glad to see him, I hope he continues to recover rapidly. (My dh had a really swollen head, it's horribly unnerving isn't it?)

Budababe · 07/08/2007 06:58

Hope today brings good news for you.

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2007 07:21

Praying OJ. Have you heard anything yet this morning?

Beetroot · 07/08/2007 09:39

OJ - I have only just seen this - What a roller coaster. Goof to hear that he is out now and on the ward.

Where are you? Can any of us help with child care?

onlyjoking9329 · 07/08/2007 11:17

i wish my phone was waterproof everytime i have tried to get in the shower it has rung. spoke to steve this morning he was quite chatty but tired and confused.
i need to take my three to the shops as i have no food in the house.
i have a meeting later then i will be going to the hospital around five after dropping the kids off to various places.

I am pleased that the operation went ok

Hope you find him as chatty later on when you see him

Would your phone work in a plastic zip lock bag?

At least you would be able to see on the display window thingy who it was ringing you

onlyjoking9329 · 07/08/2007 13:50

i have a respite care review at 2.30, should be interesting!
i will then go to hospital.

Hope the respite meeting has gone well.
Positive vibes for a quick recovery for Steve and a rapid return to normal for you all are winging their way to you.

Good stuff OJ - You must be relived that it is all sorted - praying for the children as they settle in with this new temporary family - and for you and Steve as you plan the next step and enjoy this time together. xx

OJ that's wonderful. Give Steve my love tonight, we will continue to pray for a full recovery.
Are the children alright?
Good to hear about an accommodating host family, bless them.

onlyjoking9329 · 07/08/2007 20:22

the respite that we have is just for daytime care, it has been very useful thou the family that the girls go to have been on holiday since school broke up but are back next week.
